It is now time to switch to a new Money AM football blog as the world cup is now over and we all look to the future.....World cup 2010 is over, Bravo Espana, and Forlan, once again and bring on the new season !.....I never expected the last thread to be such a success...thanks all.... so this new one might go on for years without the need to edit the title...we shall see...

Lol , probably only way we'll ever qualify.

Chris , it could seriously ruin this WC and cause more disputes than it resolves.

Chris Carson - 28 Mar 2018 11:51 - 6205 of 6918

What's that Dil, Wales not qualifying :0)

Dil - 30 Mar 2018 09:59 - 6206 of 6918

Yeah bit like UK referees and assistants.

Not one has been chosen from the UK.

Anyway back in the real world , proper football starts again today. Massive game for Cardiff home to Burton as our next 4 games look a lot harder on paper.

Still think we need Villa and Fulham to drop more points during the last eight games to give us 2nd place.

Dil - 03 Apr 2018 12:05 - 6207 of 6918

Late equaliser last night gave us a point we barely deserved. That could be the point that gets us over the line.

7 to play and an 8 point lead over 2nd place , next up are top of the table Wolves at home Friday night with a 30,000 plus crowd expected followed by 4th placed Villa away next Tuesday.

Still not confident.

Here he is, at it again!

Cristiano Ronaldo gets the opposition fans standing to applaud his bicycle kick goal:

(It's already in HD but don't forget to put it on 'Full Screen')

Missed a few sitters - you can do that then fluff those?

KidA - 04 Apr 2018 14:22 - 6210 of 6918

Ray Wilkins :(

Shame.

With Bryan Robson formed an excellent partnership....have to say that Ronaldo along with Messi are two incredible players.....they will be mentioned along with the alltime greats !.....

Chris Carson - 04 Apr 2018 21:56 - 6213 of 6918

Good win for Liverpool tonight. Pity about some of the SHITE supporters. Always the victims never to blame.

required field - 05 Apr 2018 19:44 - 6214 of 6918

The Kop and such need to police themselves because there is too much trouble from their passionate fans.....passion is one thing but violence and aggression toward visiting teams and supporters is not acceptable !....Liverpool command the greatest respect but must stamp out the nutcases that are going to wreck the clubs reputation !....

required field - 05 Apr 2018 19:50 - 6215 of 6918

Doesn't the Ronaldo statue remind you of an Austrian chocolate confectioner/manufacturer.....?...rabbits and such....?....I know it's easter but this is ridiculous....yummy Ronaldoes now ?.....

Joe Say - 06 Apr 2018 08:25 - 6216 of 6918

RF - any away supporter that's been to Anfield will tell you its not the place that the media like to portray

One of the worst set of supporters I've ever seen - and there's far more of those idiots than many people suspect - look what they did to the city coach

Vermin - they should ban the club from Europe (the same club that caused an English ban previously - what a co-incidence)

Dil - 06 Apr 2018 10:03 - 6217 of 6918

I went to watch Liverpool v Chelsea in the Charity Shield about 10 years ago when it was played at the Millenium Stadium. Went with three Chelsea fans and much to my surprise it was the Liverpool fans behaving like bell ends all day not the Chelsea fans.

As Chris said , always the victims.

robinhood - 06 Apr 2018 15:08 - 6218 of 6918

re Liverpool Man City? Should be a replay on neutral ground!! (That will teach those "supporters" the effects of their immature behaviour) -Yes I am aware this is unfair on Liverpool but you got to stamp this out once and for all.

Dil - 07 Apr 2018 01:07 - 6219 of 6918

Two fecking penalties in second half added time and we still lose 1-0.

If it wasn't so funny I could cry.

Congrats to Wolves , they will now go up as champions and thoroughly deserved. Would also put good money on them not coming straight back down.

Dil - 07 Apr 2018 01:09 - 6220 of 6918

Villa away Tuesday ... we'll stuff them :-)

Dil - 07 Apr 2018 01:15 - 6221 of 6918

Re : Liverpool EUFA inquiry ( and Barcelona) heard it's not being held until after the final.

Says it all !!!!

If it were an FA inquiry into Cardiff , Millwall or West Ham we would have been found guilty by Monday at latest.

Got no time for always the victims Liverpool and EUFA are just as corrupt as FIFA.

Chris Carson - 07 Apr 2018 09:29 - 6222 of 6918

Kopites Are Gobshites will be echoing around around Goodison today!!

It's not raining so playing golf, can only endure so much pain watching the demise of our club. Liverpool reserves will probably hammer us.

Liverpool have Klippety Klopp as their manager, City have Guardiola, Everton are stuck with Fattiola! :0)

Not only is my town (Northampton) council skint, having loaned £10+ million to Northampton Town for stadium building purposes and which subsequently 'went missing'.......

Q. So what checks did the council make before paying out all of the money?
A. Well, we drove past and things seemed to be going OK with the works.

....but the Northampton County Council has found out it is skint too.....

Q. What findings did the government inspector establish about the NCC monetary and budgetary situation?
A. The NCC needs to 'start again'. This time it should divide itself into two parts.

......but also Northampton Town is now definitely going to be relegated.

Q. Why did the club management decide to sack Jimmy Floyd Hasselbank, the Northampton Town manager, when it was actually too late to rescue the relegation situation?
A. We are in a difficult position and aren’t going to get any help from the outside, as a group and as a club we must come together and come out fighting.
Q. And so why did the club management decide to sack Jimmy Floyd Hasselbank, the Northampton Town manager, when it was actually too late to rescue the relegation situation?
A. ??????????
