THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

A million people in North Korea have 'volunteered' to fight in a war with the south.

Cynic

The EU was set up in part to counter a resurgent of neo-Fascism , but what it is doing now with its open border and uncontrolled immigration policy is doing the opposite.

Hays,

Are they members of UKIP as well?

cynic - 23 Aug 2015 16:58 - 62080 of 81564

aldo - no doubt that i'm thick, but what has your post to do with the comment that i made?

Haystack - 23 Aug 2015 18:39 - 62081 of 81564

The neo-fascism is a red herring. The EU was set up to prevent inter state conflicts and wars within Europe. At the time Fascism was a perceived threat, but in reality is was fear of Germany in the future. It is worth noting that France's nuclear weapons were targeted on Germany until relatively recently.

I've had a good idea ,why don't we all start driving big muscle cars ,that will end the over supply of oil problem ,i can't fix China but that's a start .

Richard Murphy, the self styled economist, who creates Corbyn's economic plans has said the Corbyn will sack the governor of the BoE if he refuses to print free money. Richard Murphy is a tax accountant. He published an article in the Guardian telling people how to avoid paying tax and Ni when employing a nanny. He advises the TUC and Unite on tax affairs.

Fred1new - 24 Aug 2015 15:37 - 62089 of 81564

Hays,

do you use him?

Fred1new - 24 Aug 2015 16:29 - 62090 of 81564

I blame Cameron and Osborne for the collapse of the stock market.

If they hadn't been on holidays they could have prevented it, just like they blamed Brown for his failures and incompetence.

What a government of charlatans.

ahoj - 24 Aug 2015 16:51 - 62091 of 81564

Haystack
what date did Richard Murphy published the article. Very interested to read.
Thanks

Here it is

Here is his wiki entry. It is worth reading.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Murphy_(accountant)

Murphy has been criticised for arrangements used in conducting his own tax affairs, such as supplying research work through a company, Fulcrum Publishing Ltd[13] not paying business rates on business premises[14] as well as writing articles in The Guardian on minimising tax in situations such as being self-employed or employing a nanny.

Haystack - 24 Aug 2015 17:21 - 62094 of 81564

If Corbyn gets elected, his reliance on a chancer like Murphy is going to slap him in the face.
