Will this increase or decrease the likelihood of terrorist actions in America, Europe and the rest of the world?
If you were a member of a family murdered in this conflict, would you be seeking revenge?
Should Tzipi Livni and Ehud Olmert, be tried for war crimes if or when this conflict comes to an end?
What will the price of oil be in 4 weeks time?

Hanas do not get on very well with Iran these days. Iran's help is used at the moment because it suits Hamas. The current siruation has put Gaza back on the agenda. There could be a cease fire, but the sticking point is that Hamas want something regarding the blockade of Gaza.
Israel doesn't have much more time to get this tight. The increase in Hamas's capacity to hit Israel should tell them that. Next time it will be longer range rockets with accuracy and ground to air missiles.

i think qatar has much more gas than oil, but i could be wrong, but assuredly the qataris own harrods (an egyptian outpost?) and a lot of heavy real estate in london ...... as for being a nation of cheats, that is a lot less true than say of china or pakistan or indonesia or kenya ...... do qataris take "commission"? ..... almost certainly (world cup fiasco is in a league of its own!), but that is true everywhere in m/e and much of other parts of the world - it's the way business works, either in brown envelopes, or payment in kind

Ceasefire agreed between Israel and Hamas
http://www.independent.ie/world-news/middle-east/ceasefire-agreed-between-israel-and-hamas-3301956.html?
ISRAEL has agreed to a truce in the Gaza Strip, but will not lift its blockade of the Palestinian territory, Israeli sources said, declining to give further details of any deal.
Shortly before, a Palestinian official with knowledge of Egyptian mediation between the two sides told Reuters that there was a ceasefire agreement to end eight days of fighting in Gaza that has killed more than 140 Palestinians and five Israelis.
Israel's Channel Two television said a ceasefire would be announced in Cairo later in the evening by U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
