THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

cynic - 01 Sep 2015 09:49 - 62166 of 81564

oh lordy lordy ..... the boy's been let out of the asylum again :-)

TANKER - 01 Sep 2015 10:17 - 62167 of 81564

cynic . home owners should know what is going on .
all you post is mostly shite and worthless info it appears
you do not like the truth on any issue

TANKER - 01 Sep 2015 10:18 - 62168 of 81564

cynic must live in a bubble or just does not like the true facts

TANKER - 01 Sep 2015 10:21 - 62169 of 81564

I could post pictures of families trying to get back their homes. but that would be illegal without their permission.
its not good to come home to find your home being trashed by illegal immigrants who you can not get out

cynic - 01 Sep 2015 10:34 - 62170 of 81564

is that true facts as opposed to false facts, no doubt as disseminated by the mail and similar?

TANKER - 01 Sep 2015 10:53 - 62171 of 81564

cynic is the earth flat because you are a simpleton and a very dishonest person who does not like the truth . those families do not think it is false or nice its all over the country . breakings are up 21% on last year . in one town breakings over 367 in 5 months

MaxK - 01 Sep 2015 11:25 - 62172 of 81564

Tanks is correct, you have little or no protection from squatters:

https://www.gov.uk/squatting-law/overview

The police don't want to know, except to protect the scumbags.

No point in reporting it, it will just drag on for months and cost a packet.

Better to get half a dozen mates around and turf the fuckers out, no warning.

Fred1new - 01 Sep 2015 12:48 - 62173 of 81564

jb.

If you don't like the Cartoons I wonder why, and what they contain that you are so sensitive to.

If you don't like the postings use the squelch button, or hurry past the offending postings.

cynic - 01 Sep 2015 13:15 - 62174 of 81564

fred - it could be that many of us find them just plain tedious and, in essence, totally repetitive day after day after day after day ....... yes, one can skip past them, as i do, but they take up an inordinate amount of page space and, if i am not much mistaken, also cause the page to display badly over-width

cynic - 01 Sep 2015 13:18 - 62175 of 81564

max and MrT ...... squatting is assuredly not a new problem. but one that to my certain knowledge, was arguably even more common in the 70s

that the police cannot be bothered with the average break in and similar is certainly true, but then the chances of them finding the culprits are generally minimal
however, one also hears cases where clear CCTV footage is provided, but still nothing is done, or at least not by the police

jimmy b - 01 Sep 2015 13:30 - 62176 of 81564

Fred i'm not sensitive to anything , Labour lost Con's won get over it , and if you want the truth most of them are a bunch of tosser i don't care for any of them.

i have tried engaging you in another conversation about your travels but you just carry on being (as cynic says above)being just plain tedious .

TANKER - 01 Sep 2015 15:58 - 62177 of 81564

cynic once again you miss the point. I was warning posters of the scumbags being given info from taxi company employees telling people the homes are empty be aware
who you use to get to the airport .

cynic - 01 Sep 2015 16:12 - 62178 of 81564

you're right; i did miss your point
we are always very careful indeed whom we tell, and would certainly never ever tell the police
fortunately both my neighbour and ourselves have good cctv and it's well signed, and burglar alarm of course ...... we also live in a sort of cul-de-sac, all of which are likely to deter all but the most determined (no point) or stupid (who'll get caught)

Beat this one.........

The struggles of the world's hairiest family

Jesus Aceves was born with a rare condition that means he has thick hair all over his face. About 30 members of his family also have hypertrichosis making them almost certainly the hairiest family in human history. They feature in a documentary Chuy, The Wolf Man by film-maker Eva Aridjis which is being released in Mexico this month.

I like the symbolism of those images.

Very good!

I think it relates to Cameron looking at the success of his negotiations in Europe!
