Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

I would suggest that many who are shouting and blustering over "immigration" to the UK check their genetic and mongrel origins, and perhaps read the following synopsis.

max - what you say is absolutely right with regard to those who cross into germany, and this is just one of the problems that this unregulated eu policy will generate
at least those allowed into uk from the off, will have had some sort of vetting in syria itself

Maybe that's why Merkel's done this , she knows they will eventually disperse throughout Europe . Forcing countries to take in these people .

btw, if the people have german passports, they are eu citizens and not remotely in the same league or category as "illegals" let alone legit syrian refugees

They won't get German passports. It is the same here. You have to become citizens first.

It is quite clear that the law in Germany is that passports are only given to German citizens. It is the same in all countries. Immigrants CAN travel passport free throughout the Schengen area but that is a different thing, especially as we are not signatories of the Schengen agreement.

The prime minister's speech on immigration is being billed as a plan that will change the face of the nation - but the official figures published yesterday show how it has already been transformed - and will continue to change in an era of mass movement of people.
The Office for National Statistics is charged with providing its best estimate of what is going on, based on a number of different measures, all of which have limitations,.
Its November 2014 ONS stats suggest that 583,000 people came to live and work in the UK in the year to June 2014. That includes an increase of 45,000 people from the EU and 30,000 from the rest of the world.
Separate figures for emigration suggest that around 325,000 left the UK over the same period. Both of those movements includes a portion of British citizens exercising their right to come and go.
The difference between these two is called net migration and this gives us an idea about population growth.

EU should 'undermine national homogeneity' says UN migration chief
By Brian Wheeler
Political reporter, BBC News
21 June 2012

Peter Sutherland's global migration forum brings together 160 nations to discuss policy
The EU should "do its best to undermine" the "homogeneity" of its member states, the UN's special representative for migration has said.
Peter Sutherland told peers the future prosperity of many EU states depended on them becoming multicultural.
He also suggested the UK government's immigration policy had no basis in international law.
He was being quizzed by the Lords EU home affairs sub-committee which is investigating global migration.
Mr Sutherland, who is non-executive chairman of Goldman Sachs International and a former chairman of oil giant BP, heads the Global Forum on Migration and Development , which brings together representatives of 160 nations to share policy ideas.
He told the House of Lords committee migration was a "crucial dynamic for economic growth" in some EU nations "however difficult it may be to explain this to the citizens of those states".
