Please report bugs and enhancements (BUGS)

andy.lovell - 04 Nov 2002 11:26

If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!

Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.

The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.

This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)

If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

Do we have an update yet please - really frustrating not being able to rely on the stockwatch page

IanT(MoneyAM) - 11 Sep 2007 13:32 - 6249 of 7315

IanT(MoneyAM) - 11 Sep 2007 13:40 - 6251 of 7315

I couldn't locate this thread to report problems this morning: the News took an age to come through today - (or was it my computer?). I normally rely on being able to read the reports that are issued from 07:00 before trading opens at 08:00. Had to go to another website in the end but it wasted a lot of time.

Toya - 12 Sep 2007 07:29 - 6254 of 7315

Hi again - I'm so pleased that the Newsflow is back to normal this morning. Thanks.

Toya - 12 Sep 2007 08:03 - 6255 of 7315

Level 2 gone, Stockwatch gone - both at the critical moment as trading opens - help!

James(MoneyAM) - 12 Sep 2007 08:47 - 6256 of 7315

Toya,

I've restarted a couple of slowish servers. How are things now?

James.

rmcook - 12 Sep 2007 08:58 - 6257 of 7315

Am new(ish) to this site so this point may have been raised before, but on Stockwatch the bid and offer prices that show red or blue depending on changes revert to green whenever the page is revisited.

Could the red/blue prices not be retained as this is a very good instant view of what current trends are.

Thanks

IanT(MoneyAM) - 12 Sep 2007 09:51 - 6258 of 7315

rmcook,

We can certainly take a look at that for you.

Ian

Hi James - Level 2 is OK currently thanks. You may need to keep an eye on it though: in the past few days there have often been short blips of 'Service temporarily unavailable' - and as Murphy's Law dictates, it's usually at a crucial moment!
