Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

You mean Fishfinger might have swapped his cloth cap and ferret collection for a Justin Bieber CD and a photo of Celine Dion, CC?

i care not if you pick on me; goes with the territory if you stick your head over the parapet
however, i think the general pack attack on will10 is somewhat unwarranted

Pack attack cynic , a couple of people questioned him that's all as he was for mass immigration and was questioning others ,i don't think he was offended anyway .

You need to get out a bit more, cyners, if you think people have been picking on will10.
Anybody suggesting that the UK take in more migrants is lucky if they're extended the courtesy of a two-word reply, with the second word being 'off'. I think the thread in general have been quite polite towards him as a newcomer.

Hairy One,
Where are your antecedents from?
When you buy your boat.
Take JB, the Tinker and your mate with you, but don’t send any Maydays.
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Manuel,
“the fact is that he and his family are or were just economic refugees and therefore uk has no obligation, moral or otherwise to offer his ilk anything at all”
The UK may not have a legal responsibility help others who are motivated to flee their own countries, but for the majority there is a moral duty to one’s fellow man when they are in need.
It is obvious that self-comfort and personal advancement for you and others on this thread that the primary driving forces of your being.
Perhaps, the moral codes of a pack of hyenas are more suitable.
-=-=-=-=-=
Much of the problems in the ME initiated due to failing in administration by the UK, America and other European countries before WW2 and since that war, with interference and setting up said friendly administration for the West. Plundering and abusing of those countries wealth, but little care of the people for their development of “decent” government.
The Shah of Persia was a typical example.
-=-=-=-=-=-
Will10,
There are a group on this board who are stunted in development, and hunt in packs and argue by denigrating those who have different views and seem to have developed a perverse sense of being and belonging by doing so. Bullying or attempting to do so.
After a time you will find them amusing.
=-=-=-=-=-
Hairy one,
Where are you paying taxes.
Hear they are checking up!

oh lordy lordy ..... dr jekyll (fred) is back as the alter ego of mr hyde (MrT)
i really don't understand why dr jekyll is not living in north korea, which must surely be his utopia ..... perhaps living in the dim and distant past in his ivory tower while sat on his overstuffed sofa is too comfortable

I think that the governor of the BoE has been excellent. He has been very careful about the words he has used and not kept changing his mind. His comment are only to be taken as guidance. Most of his comments have been on the line of interest rates are unlikely or likely to rise. Unlike previous governors, he has no over reacted either too soon or too late. Just a steady hand.
