Got me England flags ready for the front of the house and which I'll be putting up around the time of England's first match.
Here's hoping I get to keep them up longer than for the last World Cup, where you might remember we got knocked out very early on. This left us in a position where to keep the house flags up did nothing more than just remind us of our utter embarrassment.
I do think now though, that with the likes of Marcus Rashford firing them in, we do stand a good chance of doing well this time. And the England manager seems OK too.
So, fingers crossed.

Isn't he the guy who didn't trust the UK banking system and put his money into an offshore K2 account??? ;o)

Brazil to win it. They have looked good for the past two years.

I don't know you can buy quite a lot in Spain. Unlike Brasil, if you can possibly forget the horror suffered at the Mineirão at the last world cup, Argentina don't seem to click as a team. Familiar problem.

Well, we don't hear anything about him in the news....
I wonder how Sir Alex Ferguson is getting on at the moment?

If he is speaking, he is probably still cursing Uruguay.
Cheers,

I'm surprised Spain's odds haven't changed. In fact, they seem to have got slightly better than France now. Corals had them both at 6/1.

What we need is England to score more goals than Belgium against Tunisia and Panama therefore only needing a draw to top the group in the final game against them,.....I think we can do quite well in this world cup !.....

Right here's my view on England's chances.
First off they have an easy group to get out of so last 16 should be a gimme.
Secondly , regardless if they finish first or second in the group they will play a crap team in the last 16 so that's the quarters nailed on without even breaking a sweat.
If things go to form England should face either Brazil or Germany in the quarter final and if they win that which I don't think is beyond them then who cares who they face after.
I think this England team could surprise a few people and for the right reasons for a change.
Good luck but I'm still cheering for Tunisia Monday :-)

It's refreshing to see teams actually go all out for a win innit , instead of playing chess , lets hope it continues , gotta love Mexico .

Just had a look at the knockout stages....it's a distinct possibility that the Germans could now meet Brazil in the next round......crikey !....because now Mexico could win their group...!...
