HUSTLER - 17 Nov 2004 20:02

NETeller - NLR - 3.15
Thought i would start a new thread following on from
hawick - new issue looks very special - not to steal the thunder from
hawick but just to highlight the company name to those not already in to this
potential blockbuster.
Those of us who are following NETeller know the background and have been
active with postings, for newcomers i strongly sugest viewing the
( new issue looks very special posting )the content will speak for itself.

Brief overview of NETeller
The company handles online cash transactions across the globe
on 21st oct gained fsa approval to operate as a regulated e-money issuer
and will passport the regulated status to all 25 EU member states
it has over 1 million clients rising by 2000 number each day
1500 online merchants and processed over $1.5 billion in 2003
pre tax profit is estimated to be 29 million to dec 04 rising to
40 million next year
per currently 20 to dec 04 falling to 11.5 which is low for sector
brokers have been raising forcasts on a regular basis
share price has risen over 50% since launch earlier this year
new markets emerging constantly, asia has the potential for supergrowth
online casinos are creating enormous profits
given all this - cash generative - huge market - fsa approval
infastructure in place to handle growth, profits accrue to bottom line
the market force is behind it with good relative strength
all put together it is hard to argue against this has the potential
to be a blockbuster over the year ahead

regards HUSTLER

Neteller closer to global goal after acquisition
By William Hall
Published: March 9 2005 02:00 | Last updated: March 9 2005 02:00

Neteller, the fast-growing Isle of Man-based electronic money transfer service focused on internet gaming, has taken its first step towards becoming a fully-fledged global internet bank by buying a debit card processor in Asia.

Last week's $12.5m (6.53m) acquisition of Macau-based Quick Access, which processes $50m of debit card payments annually, provides Neteller with access to payment networks in China, one of the biggest growth areas for gaming and financial services.

The acquisition will be integrated into Neteller's payments system that allows customers to load, withdraw and transfer funds instantly by purchasing e-money. Benjamin Lee, a former Hong Kong deputy trade minister, will head Neteller's Asian operations.

Neteller's growth has been fuelled by the reluctance of Visa and Mastercard, two of the world's biggest card-based payments systems, to become heavily involved in handling internet gambling payments, which account for about 80 per cent of Neteller's transactions.

Gord Herman, 46, Neteller's chief executive, said that while gaming-related money transfers were the company's current growth driver, it was only a means to an end.

"We want to use the gaming industry to create the worldwide infrastructure that will allow us to go after the mass market in internet banking," said Mr Herman, a former GE Capital executive.

He added that the company also aimed to compete with Western Union, the money transfer arm of First Data, the $33bn US financial services company.

One of Neteller's closest potential rivals in the internet arena is PayPal, an online payment system with 64m members, which was bought by eBay, the internet auction company, in a $1.5bn deal in October 2002. However, PayPal does not service the gaming industry.

Neteller has been authorised by the Financial Services Authority as a regulated e-money issuer. It plans to use this as a springboard into the rest of the European Union.

The company, founded in Canada in 1999, moved its headquarters to the Isle of Man just over a year ago, where about 20 of its 450 staff are based, to take advantage of the island's low tax rate.

Neteller has been one of Aim's star performers over the past year. It is one of the leading online money transfer systems for an internet gaming market that Bear Stearns forecasts will grow from $6bn in 2004 to $15bn in 2005.

An estimated 2m gamblers log on daily to more than 31,000 internet gaming sites, and the number of Neteller's customers has jumped from less than 100,000 in January 2002 to 1.25m at the end of 2004.

It has clients in more than 100 countries, but the bulk are in the US.

Neteller's shares have more than trebled since it floated last April at 200p, despite fears about the sustainability of its growth rate and concerns that the US Justice Department might try to curb offshore gaming by US citizens. Neteller's market value of 827m is near that of Egg, Prudential's loss-making internet bank, valued at 898m.

Dont worry holders we might be going through a stiff patch but as you can see there isnt a TA follower with the nerve to put his or her theory to the test.

Volume is still there so we should see a recovery comew good times in the US.

Do not sell on this short term weakness.

cheers GF.

Dil - 10 Mar 2005 08:42 - 631 of 1341

What TA theory ?

goldfinger - 10 Mar 2005 09:36 - 632 of 1341

See what Evil wrote yesterday:

I continue to watch the meteoric rise of Neteller (NLR) with amazement. I am told by a man who knows about these things that competition is mounting so I really do want to go short, but the way that the shares are hoofing along, to open a position now would be to stand in front of the metaphorical express train. Even for someone of my stature that would be an unnecessarily painful experience.

Dil - 10 Mar 2005 11:58 - 635 of 1341

Its in a bloody huge uptrend gf so don't understand your post.

Dil - 10 Mar 2005 12:01 - 636 of 1341

Nothing like a bit of self admiration eh Evil ?

He's cocked up on many occasions but you don't hear much about those !

goldfinger - 10 Mar 2005 12:53 - 637 of 1341

NLR still holding gains.

cheers GF.

goldfinger - 10 Mar 2005 12:54 - 638 of 1341

Dil what is your target beyond the 11 quid in september? please, I do remember you giving one.

cheers GF.

Dil - 10 Mar 2005 13:35 - 639 of 1341

Well the obvious next target would be 1500p but this is based on some guess work on my part on future rates of growth , current rates are unsustainable in the medium / long term so an assumption of between 20-25% has been used.

goldfinger - 10 Mar 2005 14:52 - 640 of 1341

Cheers Dil

GF.

goldfinger - 11 Mar 2005 13:24 - 641 of 1341

cheers GF.

goldfinger - 11 Mar 2005 15:55 - 642 of 1341

And its up more now. Is this a pattern up to results, smaller rises each day?.

cheers GF.

Since the price of NLR is now over 750, presumably Cannacord's recommendation must now be a "sell" rating!!
