notice cable trading between the fib levels of highs and lows of last week.

See gold dropped again last night, another 20 dollars and it'll be testing the june lows!

Is my target short of 8734 an outrageous one or will we see it later today?

Dunno H - still got yesterday's target for starters.

Afternoon folks, no position atm. I was reasonably certain that we'd go up today, despite a hold on rates. I was so wrong! Anyway not sure what to make of today so will w&w - really too busy to look in regularly today so might have a scalp over the next hour or so.

SC. Could this be one of those double botts your were talking about. On the lower fib level of last week fall?(on the hourly chart)

Stop hit without trouble. I really must try to stop guessing direction and rely on the indicators. Very little damage done - the crazy thing is, I was short from 801 and closed for a tiny profit, then went long...... Doh!

Harlosh, your target doesnt look too outrageous anymore.

I've just switched over to my 5-min chart to see what it looked like and have noticed an old falling resistance line which had been off the chart until now as the price action was way above it if you understand what I mean.

Strangely enough the line was at 1.8750ish when the price action hit it and rebounded. It'll be interesting to see what happens on the retest.

Corrr. I like this Photobucket thingie. It's so quick'n'easy.

Cable managed to touch 8746 on my chart just 12 above my target of 8734 so pleased with that and getting more impressed with them the more I use them.

To be on the safe side I put a limit on to take profit at 8760 so managed +60 from my short.
