Fantastic weather in Central London this morning, so I have just taken some freshly-baked cheese straws out of the oven and checked the bottles of white burgundy are chilling nicely. Help yourselves, caffettes!

I'm off to watch the rhododendrons bursting into flower in the garden.....

All that activity last night I'm worn out...and I was only watching! Yes I'm checking out my garden too today, warmest yet but light breeze in Surrey. I'll have a chilled Mosel with some of those lovely cheesey things ta.

Two sorbets freshly frozen.....passion fruit and raspberry. Both inspired by last night's exhibitionists!

Deelish Vasey, ummm, pass the cream, need a break from the garden, sooooo hot!

Good evening all and Socs, acquired taste that anti-freeze stuff, must have got used to it in the RAF days. Still around though sell it as 'value' red wine in some shops. That ex wife of mine probably had some before she went 'on' the Dak from Manston otherwise she would have insisted on an 'inside' seat. After the last few news items looking forward to rewarding times from PTG.

Goodnews? Don't know really. Good news for travellers as long as it lasts, Manston to Edinburgh 7, can't be bad. You would have to be a nutter to take the train whilst that sort of fare is available.

I think the most difficult thing will be getting the airline well established.

7 to Edinburgh? At that price I might just pop on a plane there and back to check out my investment!! After a few of those alcoholic cherries who knows it may look a good investment - do you think they do bar service for that price?! I wasn't that convinced by Edmond Jackson's write up that he thought we were out of the problems yet. Anyway, lovely to see all that red disappear from the screen and I hope you are all enjoying the sunshine - it's been pretty cloudy here today - could you send some up this way tomorrow please.
