new millennium resources (NML)

LEEWINK - 28 Mar 2004 15:45

NML is due its interrim results now, last year it was the 28th of this month.

They are setting up a new site to explore/research/analyse and all the equipment to do this should be on site now, and drilling should start soon, all this extra news should be covered in the interims.

does anyone have any further positive views on this company ??

Legend,

Very interesting, thanks for that.

I believe FDi has the potential to develop into a mid tier miner in due course, and I have a long term holding.

legend290782 - 02 Jun 2005 14:05 - 630 of 1909

Im sure you won't be disappointed andy. I have only heard good things i am pleased to tell ya!!

mjr1234 - 06 Jun 2005 10:43 - 631 of 1909

Good volume today.

Hard to tell what are buys/sells though.

Online quotes 4.08/4.42, so even though most trades look like sells, must be a buy in the system as bid is well up today.

Andy - 06 Jun 2005 11:47 - 632 of 1909

mjr1234,

Comdirect are currently 4.03 - 4.25, so I reckon the 75,000 is a buy, and the rest are probably sells.

mjr1234 - 06 Jun 2005 13:50 - 633 of 1909

Can buy for 4p again - BARGAIN!

ASMITH2 - 06 Jun 2005 15:09 - 634 of 1909

Yes but why can you buy at 4p again things that seem a bargain that are too good to be true usually are!!

mjr1234 - 06 Jun 2005 15:14 - 635 of 1909

4p gone now - 4.25p to buy..

ASMITH2 - 06 Jun 2005 15:24 - 636 of 1909

Yep but still down and red and the bid back in the tank at 3.5p - Quite Pathetic to say the least.

Andy - 06 Jun 2005 15:28 - 637 of 1909

mjr / asmith,

it looks they moved the bid down as soon as a few sells had gone through.

mjr1234 - 06 Jun 2005 15:30 - 638 of 1909

They moved the offer up from 4p to 4.25p on 50k of buys.

They moved the bid down on 250k+ of sells.

Andy - 06 Jun 2005 18:33 - 639 of 1909

mjr,

exactly, it's still a problem, and only one buy at 4.25p. then back to 4p offer again.

ASMITH2 - 07 Jun 2005 09:09 - 640 of 1909

Andy - Yes this is still a very major problem this needs news and fast. The placing news is neither pos or neg although no doubt this means another 121/2 million shares for the seller to dump and trouser a profit on.
Alarm bells are starting to ring here the sps going no where and the mms are very keen to send it down rather than up .News is so urgently needed.

mjr1234 - 07 Jun 2005 09:38 - 641 of 1909

Can't see the problem myself. There was no mystery "seller" selling yesterday, just retail punters selling out probably for breakeven as far as I could see. Some holders are nervous and this not too suprising at this critical time.

News is needed to send the price upwards, but I don't see why it should go the other way.

I see this continued depression on low volumes as an opportunity to accumulate at a good price.

mjr1234 - 08 Jun 2005 10:06 - 642 of 1909

Now valued around 5M - scandalously cheap!

mjr1234 - 08 Jun 2005 11:04 - 643 of 1909

Back up we go - don't you just love bottoms?

legend290782 - 08 Jun 2005 13:11 - 644 of 1909

How do you think a 5m valuation for this is cheap??

mjr1234 - 08 Jun 2005 13:17 - 645 of 1909

Are you having a laugh?

legend290782 - 08 Jun 2005 13:28 - 646 of 1909

Clearly...

What are NML's net assets??

How much cash do they have??

How quickly are they generating it??

What are their EPS??

What p/e are they on??

How much of the profits will they actually get after the JV split??

Have a think, answer the questions and then post an answer... if it is more than 5m then I might agree!! So your telling me that if YOU had 5 million pounds in YOUR hands, YOU would buy this company????

If they do bounce from here (which probably might happen) it won't be because of fundamental value... it will probably be due to a half optimistic RNS that noone understands!!

mjr1234 - 08 Jun 2005 13:37 - 647 of 1909

What are NML's net assets??
>Hard to quantify

How much cash do they have??
>at least 500k

How quickly are they generating it??
>unknown at present

What are their EPS??
>unknown at present

What p/e are they on??
>n/a at present, as not generating a profit (that we know of)

How much of the profits will they actually get after the JV split??
> Now this is the interesting question, and the one that leads to some very exciting figures:

NML get 54% of the profits for the first 3 years, falling to 34% after that.

If their own estimates are met, this equates to 2.5M/year for the first 6 months or so rising to around 5.5M/year when production is doubled.

Applying the sector average p/e of 15, this leads to a realistic market cap of 37.5M to 82.5M, ie a share price of 23p to 51p.

And this is just for the Rio Lapi alluvials operation, on the currently identified resource.

You have to add on to this the value of the JV with Hudson and of course the potential of the kimberlites!

I am staggered if you can't see the potential growth here.

stockdog - 08 Jun 2005 13:49 - 648 of 1909

Thanks mjr1234 - interesting figures.
