THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Do you know that al-Qasim Muhammad (founder of Islam) was born 543 years after Jesus Christ rose again, and put Jesus in the Quran? So muslims rejected Jesus if they knew about him. Which makes Islam a lie, because they rejected God and his only begotten Son. Google when was Muhammad born and you'll see his 55-letter name actually has 'Allah' in it. People are worshiping a false idol and think they're holier than anything when they're willingly passing up Jehovah for hellfire. Islam was created by a man who read the Bible and changed it to uplift himself. Crazy thing is some people are fooled to believed it's the same thing. That's why they have so many commandments of the BIBLE in the Islam culture. But Islam is the biggest lie of all religions ever created. A straight slap in the face of God, and a stab in the back of Jesus Christ. And all who believe Allah is God and Muhammad is king are deceived people who are on their way to hell. Allah is a made up idol-god just like Hindu and Buddha. Jesus is the only way to heaven. from the site

MrT - you don't half rattle and prattle though, usually pretty insultingly to some party or race and without real cause except in your own mind

PM's QT

I did think things took a turn for the better.

Corbyn's oratory was excellent and the new style he has developed, namely of asking questions to the PM which are from named supporters, is much less theatrically aggressive.

It demanded and indeed did get, much less aggressive answers from the PM.

The essences of 'Labour' and 'Conservatives' got a chance to come out and be differentiated upon:

Labour merely want to spend money on sorting out all the problems of the disadvantaged. They don't particularly care where it comes from. It's, "Oh, just borrow some or print some."

The Tories do want to improve the economy, lower taxation , get everyone into full employment and get lots of people off benefits. They recognise that there was indeed a massive benefits culture which existed previously and they do want to change that culture.

One of Corbyn's questions to the PM came from a lady, who in whose family the lady of the house worked part time and the man of the house had a full time job, earning £25k per annum. The question was about that family's reduction of financial assistance by way of the removal of Tax Credits.
The couple had FIVE CHILDREN.
IMHO, they should have spent more of their tax credits, when they were receiving them, on contraceptives.
FIVE children is a lot more costly to bring up than say, just one or two. How come they didn't realise that when they were banging away so financially irresponsibly?

Ah well, that's the trouble with a lot of people. They don't comment on why the couple didn't use contraceptives or try to reduce their family costs but immediately say to the likes of me, "That's none of your damn business. How dare you say that?"

Then they and the couple expect society to pick up the tab by way of paying out increased benefits to them.

Fred1new - 16 Sep 2015 14:30 - 62960 of 81564

Manuel,

Is "paranoid" the word you want?

Fred1new - 16 Sep 2015 14:32 - 62961 of 81564

I think certain groups in society should be allowed to breed!

MaxK - 16 Sep 2015 14:35 - 62962 of 81564

At they're own expense Fred.

Haystack - 16 Sep 2015 14:47 - 62963 of 81564

What a terrible flat PMQ. Corbyn just read questions with no follow up. It gave Cameron the chance to give the party line with no comment. Corbyn is a man with zero charisma and no humour. I will put a bet on his not lasting a year.
