Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

MrT - you don't half rattle and prattle though, usually pretty insultingly to some party or race and without real cause except in your own mind

PM's QT
I did think things took a turn for the better.
Corbyn's oratory was excellent and the new style he has developed, namely of asking questions to the PM which are from named supporters, is much less theatrically aggressive.
It demanded and indeed did get, much less aggressive answers from the PM.
The essences of 'Labour' and 'Conservatives' got a chance to come out and be differentiated upon:
Labour merely want to spend money on sorting out all the problems of the disadvantaged. They don't particularly care where it comes from. It's, "Oh, just borrow some or print some."
The Tories do want to improve the economy, lower taxation , get everyone into full employment and get lots of people off benefits. They recognise that there was indeed a massive benefits culture which existed previously and they do want to change that culture.
One of Corbyn's questions to the PM came from a lady, who in whose family the lady of the house worked part time and the man of the house had a full time job, earning £25k per annum. The question was about that family's reduction of financial assistance by way of the removal of Tax Credits.
The couple had FIVE CHILDREN.
IMHO, they should have spent more of their tax credits, when they were receiving them, on contraceptives.
FIVE children is a lot more costly to bring up than say, just one or two. How come they didn't realise that when they were banging away so financially irresponsibly?
Ah well, that's the trouble with a lot of people. They don't comment on why the couple didn't use contraceptives or try to reduce their family costs but immediately say to the likes of me, "That's none of your damn business. How dare you say that?"
Then they and the couple expect society to pick up the tab by way of paying out increased benefits to them.

What a terrible flat PMQ. Corbyn just read questions with no follow up. It gave Cameron the chance to give the party line with no comment. Corbyn is a man with zero charisma and no humour. I will put a bet on his not lasting a year.

fred - who paranoid? .... MrT?
surprised that you did not also add that certain groups in society should NOT be allowed to breed (under any circumstances)! :-)
el and max - i think that unlike germany and italy and a few others, uk still has a growing population <25 ..... that being so, i thoroughly agree with the concept that child benefit should be limited to 2 children - perhaps a 3rd one on a reduced level

Migrants refusing to accept Red Cross parcels because they have a red cross on them. Nice. Just the type of migrant we need...
