Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

Hanging the children for the "crime" of the "parents".
I will shoot all polish children for their father's "sins"

From the Guardian
Mark Wallace: Even bearpit politics is better than this dishwater debate
Only Jeremy Corbyn could radically change something to make it more bland. His new approach to PMQs, to read out questions sent in by supporters and members of the public, was fine – but only fine. Fine in the sense of plain porridge, or a grey day on which it neither rains, blows nor shines. Fine because he survived intact, while Cameron was given a safe platform to talk about how well the government is doing. There was no sign of real scrutiny in the proceedings.
If he gets good advice, Corbyn will sharpen it a bit in future – using the guest question as an introduction, but following it up with more pressing queries. If he doesn’t, then it’s hard to see anyone tuning in for more of this. For all the griping about the bearpit approach to PMQs, even Punch and Judy politics is preferable to such a dishwater debate.

Oh, I nearly forgot to say this...
I think our National Anthem sucks. When the present Queen pops her clogs, then I do think we should change it.
Apparently, David Cameron would choose 'Jerusalem' as an alternative.
I'm an atheist, by the way, but I do like and value 'tradition'. My choice leans towards "Land of Hope and Glory".
Land of Hope and Glory, Mother of the Free,
How shall we extol thee, who are born of thee?
Wider still, and wider, shall thy bounds be set;
God, who made thee mighty, make thee mightier yet!
Truth and Right and Freedom, each a holy gem,
Stars of solemn brightness, weave thy diadem.
Tho' thy way be darkened, still in splendour drest,
As the star that trembles o'er the liquid West.
Throned amid the billows, throned inviolate,
Thou hast reigned victorious, thou has smiled at fate.
Land of Hope and Glory, fortress of the Free,
How may we extol thee, praise thee, honour thee?
Hark, a mighty nation maketh glad reply;
Lo, our lips are thankful, lo, our hearts are high!
Hearts in hope uplifted, loyal lips that sing;
Strong in faith and freedom, we have crowned our King!

The original fourth verse of the National Anthem has a lot to recommend it
Lord, grant that Marshal Wade,
May by thy mighty aid,
Victory bring.
May he sedition hush,
and like a torrent rush,
Rebellious Scots to crush,
God save the King.

There are a lot of similarities between the Bible and the Koran.....I don't agree in slagging off other peoples religions because extraordinary events accompany these beliefs; the main ones anyway.....it's just that at the moment we (europe) cannot cope with this influx of people all trying to get on the back of the common market bandwagon......we are mainly I'm sorry to say white populations and our national identities are at threat with hundreds of thousands of people with diabolical religions, tolerances, manners that are alien to our ways and customs....it is not permissable that they should expect to be able to settle in our beloved countries....

I knew this would happen on the Hungarian Border ,water cannons, tear gas and now Syrians throwing rocks at police .
The press and photographers will have a field day ! photos of children caught up in it as i saw on the news .
I was thinking if i had a baby in my arms i would have moved back from the fence when the trouble started .
This is causing trouble throughout Europe , Serbia want the Hungarians to let them through because they don't want them in Serbia , the Hungarians want to process them properly (as they should) .
The migrants have found a safe haven out of Syria but don't want it .
Big trouble ahead ,mark my words this is just the start ..

There are people in that border from Pakistan and various other countries taking advantage of the situation to become economic migrants. The EU has had this coming for a while. Whenever an area becomes economically attractive, people will want access to it. It has been happening to the USA for years. The EU either defends their borders or is overrun by poorer migrants. Just thank your lucky stars that we are an island.

Yes Haystack ,there are many taking advantage ,this is bringing people from Pakistan , Africa, Afghanistan and god knows where else .
It is now a major problem ,believe me we have not seen the worst of it yet .
You say "Just thank your lucky stars that we are an island" but it will be coming our way .

We are relatively immune compared to countries with land borders.

We are only immune until they issue the travel docs, then it's a free for all.

Just look at Calais ,in the next few months many more will make their way there and as Max says when they have travel documents the UK will be the next Germany ,Merkel got this completely wrong she had no right to welcome 800 000 immigrants to Europe .
We will vote out at the referendum make no mistake ,the polls have it wrong .

The only problem is the Companies will put pressure on their workforce to stay in , because everything has to be global . If you remember Nissan boss said they will leave if we say no to EU . I don't think they give a fig about countries make up .

Another thing is if they do cut this ISIL down to size in Syria , they aren't going to go away . Europe would be the target without a doubt as we are advertising to the world our present problems . Small groups will target areas and hope to instill fear and death .
