I opposed Arsenal to win today. The bookies were offering a very short price on Arsenal and after their performance midweek and Boltons strong start to the season it looked mad to me.

Latest table, Man U vs Liverpool smells like a draw to me. But draws are the hardest things to predict.

i thought it would be a draw but changed my mind minutes before the kick off, wise choice.

Looks like a slightly easier set of matches this weekend. Seems to be some value in Man City 4-1 not to beat Arsenal.

Man City to win 2-1, (they've got to lose some time!), but as you can see that I'm propping up the table, I'm not very good at this, although I did have a late start to the season.

You can get 25-1 for that bet.

hi scrip how did you manage to put in the results before the end of the match, if the time of 17:47 is correct? i take it that includes the blues v bolton result.

Kivver, You are correct I went back in and edited out my previous post. It was a good weekend for me. The results all "looked" quite predictable to me this weekend. I doubt if I will repeat that performance again though odds are massive to get so many correct scores in one go.

yes well done, i tried to be clever last night and thought blackburn may scrape a draw with a new manager and all that. But with mat jansen playing on the left wing you may as well play with 10 players. I do not understand playing plyers out of their natural position.

And i dont get paid 300 grand year.

A difficult set of matches to predict this weekend many that could go either way. I think 50% of preditors will do well and 50% not so well. I haven't a clue about the majority of the matches.

I'd agree with you there Scrip (as results to date are bearing out for me.)

IMO this year we have a league where the majority are of a similar standard from about 6th position down to all bar the bottom 3. Predictions are thus much more difficult, even on a Win-Lose-Draw basis, never mind the scores.

Still I normally call the Arsenal result right each week.

PS - Each week when I review this page I try and add all users to my league table. With the exception of Kivver/Scrip none of the other user names are recognised.

Could I ask all others to confirm their user names please ?
