I've also registered to become a dealer. My company has 900 live B2B accounts and 600 retail punters per day buying from my shops. Lets see how many we can convert to CCR.

Cnile, the quickest and easiest way to get started as a dealer is to get either Advan or me to sign you up, if you want me to get on the case, email me at pete@085.ndo.co.uk

Not so C Nile eh?????
Oh this is bound to be a failure isn't it! A drain on resources! A thorn in the side of Envesta! Seven's downfall!
Based on the amount of dealers presently signed up, I would estimate that about 25000 numbers would have been issued to date.
If each of those only utilised 15 minutes per month, that would equate to 75000 hours per annum of call time. Of course, that is a 'today' guesstimate.
Tomorrow may see another 5-10 dealers!
And 15 minutes a month would probably be a joke anyway!
I will not be at all suprised if we saw a positive revenue increase in the first trading statement regarding CCR and that is only within three-four months since launch!
If that WERE the case, I wonder just where that would put the SP?

I think me an Pete should just form a partnership and amalgamate our customers!
He has the brawn (and of course the foul mouth and abusive manner, useful for threatening people into signing up) and I have the civvy street business head to keep him reined in!!

I love reading the posts of advansuk. The way he calulates possible minutes usage and subsequent revenue from nothing but a fertile imagination.
The back of fag packet calculations have probably lost investors more money than anything. The number of times I have seen posts that suggest that a company might get this many enquiries and if only 10% decided to buy and if each of them bought again and recommended their friends........ Well you can imagine the rest. In the end the company actually sold to almost no one and they went bust. How many times has that happened?
He also tries to base possible business levels on the Alexa rankings of web site hits for the CCR site. Of course, this is the same method, same fag packet but applied differently.
LOL

Morning all, RED I agree wont see news till July, as year end is 30th of June and the last TS for full year results was on the 01 July 2004. One thing that is clear and that is CCR is getting a lot of coverage if we are going by the Alexa rating, as many have stated that the cheap call market is very competitive but EVS seen to be doing a good job promoting it. It maybe that they are concentrating on recruiting dealers at this stage rather than peeps of the street, this in-turn will pay dividends.
Lets say CCR recreate 500 dealers each sign up 10 peeps each spend 5 per month that makes a nice 25,000 per month.
Now if pete and advan get there act together and stop bickering over who will win the race in their sign up competition and there are recruiting 10 dealers a month, and EVS are recruiting 30 per month, we could see 1000 dealers by the end of the finical year and if we go on the currant spend rate it could earn EVS after cost 480,000 profit not bad for the fist year.

if we get a nice regular spending then the currants will also move up to bananas, and if CCR start to move into apples and pears then thing could look very appetizing indeed, morning advan

morning folks. C, I vaguely remember you mentioning they were to start their main advertising drive but I can't remember which month you said. I don,t think it's started yet, has it? (apart from your own, good imput, and some coverage in the daily nationals).

Morning tq if there are about to start the main add campaign that will help dealers big time as we know its far easier to sell some one something when they have seen it advertised.

Morning J! As far as I am aware that is still being held in abeyance until all the dealer issues are in place.
Although the dealerships are up and running, there are quite a few technical additions to be completed before it can be really promoted to the public.
Quite amazing how the present dealer rate, which is well up into the hundreds has been achieved by word of mouth and from the BB's.
It is still under test so it must certainly be being well tested!!!!

Thanks C. As Q says, once CCR is 'out there', and something the public recognise, it will be far easier to get more people interested I can see that, from EVS's point of view, it wouldn't do to be getting very high demand before they are confident all the checks on the system have been done and all the wrinkles ironed out. They are obviously going to be offering a 'platinum' service at bargain basement prices, no matter how high the demand!!

There have been quite a few comments (from the usual doomspreaders mainly) regarding how the marketing costs will sap EVS funds.
The idea of the dealership washes this view away as the dealership is a cost-free, mass marketing tool that will present CCR to the whole of the UK.
If for example, as Q said, we had a 1000 dealers at year end, as a dealer, you would sensibly expect to have anywhere from 500-2000 people on your books with a number. Add that up to ssee how many people will know about CCR without ANY marketing from EVS!!!
I wont go as far as to say it's networking, but it's very close! And we all know how fast that works! Telecom Plus, Anne Summers, Tupperware etc etc!
Add to all those customers who are using international calls and the people they are calling telling other friends and family???
