THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

The News does not reflect the serious questions about these illegal migrants :
Where do they get the money to buy the boats that are invading Greece ?
Who supplies these boats ?
Why does nobody dispose of the wrecks on the greek coast ?
Why is there nobody to turn these invaders away ?
Why are these people not arrested immediately upon landing ?
You break the law : you are welcome it seems into Europe with no or hardly any questions asked !,
None of these questions are asked or answered by reporters on this massive invasion :
Very poor reporting from the main television channels !....

MaxK - 24 Sep 2015 00:05 - 63302 of 81564

That's because it has all been arranged rf, none of this is by chance.

It must have taken a pretty big pr campaigne to get so large amount of people to move all at the same time....all in one direction.

You will notice they have not moved in the direction of other Arab counties.

jimmy b - 24 Sep 2015 00:22 - 63303 of 81564

It's a disgrace, Europe should have gone down and helped Greece when it started .

I feel for Greece ,it's in enough trouble as it is, now it's small holiday islands that rely on tourists are swamped with migrants .
It's ok for Merkel to say come on over but look at the damage and the trouble it's caused .

Fred1new - 24 Sep 2015 08:12 - 63304 of 81564

RF,

Because the are aware of possible long-term consequences of the actions you suggest.

Also, embarrassed by the responsibility of situations by the previous actions.

Also, they have streaks of common decency and humanity which appears lacking in some!

hilary - 24 Sep 2015 08:18 - 63305 of 81564

Going down to help Greece.

You've got my dirty mind boggling there, Jimbo. :o)

jimmy b - 24 Sep 2015 08:18 - 63306 of 81564

The next million are on their way Fred and the next and the next ,when would you say enough ?

jimmy b - 24 Sep 2015 08:20 - 63307 of 81564

Now i read back i can see your point hilary but i think you have been watching too many Carry On films ..

hilary - 24 Sep 2015 08:25 - 63308 of 81564

It's because I know how to hold my liquor, James.

Moving away form the discussion of why we don't do our share to help refugees.

Good old unfetered capitalism is the the reason people up sticks and move.
I accept that capitalism best delivers wealth. But it is the concentration of that wealth in the hands of the few, and its inability to fairly distribute it is what will sow its destruction.
The migration of people for economic gain is one of capitalisms main principles.
Make the benefits of wealth more fairly distributed and a lot of the worlds problems will be easied.

Fred1new - 24 Sep 2015 09:07 - 63311 of 81564

Will,

Agreed.

Capitalism is an interesting driving force for a society, but by some it is worship and is a false god.

It is a phantasy theory with its uses.

It needs to be restrained.

PS.

Has Goldfinger served his sentence and can we have him back?

VICTIM - 24 Sep 2015 09:14 - 63312 of 81564

Not many morals there Fred goldfish detested the immigrant community I'd say , but you dismiss that to suit your hatred of Cameron and co . Your just full of dung really with your stories and claptrap ad infinitum = boring .
