(see example below) The Game will last 10 weeks. The team with the biggest profit after 10 weeks wins the game. Team members should email each other or post on this thread their investment ideas for the Team captain. The Team Captain must make the final investment decisions. Teams can only invest and not go short. Buying at offer and selling at bid price. Dividend payments will not be included. The game is based solely on the price of a share. There is a maximum of 10 players per Team. Game starts 30th July, Team Captains should post first investments choices before 6pm Sunday 1st August. This Game is only a bit of fun and Golddog reserves the right to do what he likes (mutley snigger) Eligible players from GD's Tea rooms have already been placed into teams, if you do not wish to play then you can either tell me or just become a silent member of the team. Or you may request transfer to another team. If you would like to play along then please post which team you would like to be placed in. (anyone may join in). The girls team is for girls only. MM - No, further along the road than Stanford (although spent 6 weeks at Holiday Inn across the road from the Mall!)- that's when I learnt what jay walking is when the police stopped me! Apartments probably been demolished since I was there, I am trying to remember the street name.

jj: The Holiday Inn (spent many a happy hour in the bar there) is now a Sheraton. Eventually got an apartment in the Valley in Mountain View (a lot cheaper than PA and hotels) but the IST office is still in Hawthorne Avenue PA, about five minutes's walk from the (former) Holiday Inn.

I too have had the jay-walking experience, stopped by a policeman while crossing Shoreline Boulevard in MTV to the local Safeway. Made worse by the cop stopping all the traffic for me and then rolling his eyes in despair with "it's always the Brits, what is it with you people?"

Remember if you have a gee gee pot you can make a bet on which team you think will win, prices are above. I have already had a bet on the gee gee boys of 100 at 6/1 and is pure money down the drain! especially now they are 40/1 outsiders :-)

If you were in the GG team that means you have to abstain from having a bet (well you cant back us can you!!!) and not having a bet is against my religion lol.
