Could be an interesting day tomorrow - RTD announce interims and the shares could be very volatile! I think we need to sell Little Willie's DES

jj50 - 09 Sep 2004 22:50 - 641 of 808

MM - No, further along the road than Stanford (although spent 6 weeks at Holiday Inn across the road from the Mall!)- that's when I learnt what jay walking is when the police stopped me! Apartments probably been demolished since I was there, I am trying to remember the street name.

Looks like G on T is heading the wrong way again ... oops

MightyMicro - 10 Sep 2004 00:31 - 642 of 808

jj: The Holiday Inn (spent many a happy hour in the bar there) is now a Sheraton. Eventually got an apartment in the Valley in Mountain View (a lot cheaper than PA and hotels) but the IST office is still in Hawthorne Avenue PA, about five minutes's walk from the (former) Holiday Inn.

I too have had the jay-walking experience, stopped by a policeman while crossing Shoreline Boulevard in MTV to the local Safeway. Made worse by the cop stopping all the traffic for me and then rolling his eyes in despair with "it's always the Brits, what is it with you people?"

stockbunny - 10 Sep 2004 17:51 - 643 of 808

GD

Apologies

Can you please sell EID not DES and replace with SBRY

jeffmack - 10 Sep 2004 21:57 - 649 of 808

cheers team mate. lol

Golddog - 11 Sep 2004 15:11 - 650 of 808

Very close at the Top now and only 3 weeks to go.

Sorry Wildboy team mates i was going to purchase another stock but missed the deadline.

Remember if you have a gee gee pot you can make a bet on which team you think will win, prices are above. I have already had a bet on the gee gee boys of 100 at 6/1 and is pure money down the drain! especially now they are 40/1 outsiders :-)

STORMCALLER - 11 Sep 2004 17:25 - 651 of 808

GD,
Such a great innovation, I will match you and have 100 on my team! Of course a gentleman would never bet against his own team!

Fundamentalist - 11 Sep 2004 18:02 - 652 of 808

If you were in the GG team that means you have to abstain from having a bet (well you cant back us can you!!!) and not having a bet is against my religion lol.

GD - how many places for an E/W bet on the investment game?

jj50 - 11 Sep 2004 18:36 - 653 of 808

Fundy, have already asked that but GD is not allowing E/w!!
