lol dotel. (re: the cat)

coffee and donut time, I think.

stockbunny - 21 May 2004 14:57 - 6351 of 23498

Snowie!! Good to know you are OK, not in the market right now?
Well do pop in and say Hi from time to time until you get tempted
back in again!!!
((RTR are gaining ground......giggle))

jj50 - no you're not daft and it's good to be an eternal optimist
(tempted to add just ask Opto. as he seems a happy person being optomistic!) You watch BOTH will do well hopefully and this period of doubt will disappear
into the back recesses of our minds forever! I can't say anything about
the rights/wrongs of cardpoint as I have shares in a sub-prime lender
and ethically than one makes a lot of people edgy....until they see
the divi usually....

opto - see you're doing the evening shift in here these days, wonder
if you'd do the locking up until GD gets back?

Do'nuts sounds good - chocolate ones please!!
I am STILL trying to hold out against selling SVT but it's hard....

jj50 - 21 May 2004 15:07 - 6352 of 23498

Hang on to SVT stockbunny - I am!!!! Although I have a pretty close stop loss on it.

Sitting in the garden, sunshine all around but not as warm as it could be - that's Scotland for you. Chocolate donut sounds excellent, can I join you? Keeping off the alcohol till later so might try something different like a sparkling elderflower? Dog barking - must have heard GD is away.

stockbunny - 21 May 2004 15:13 - 6353 of 23498

I know, I know but it's the profit....must resist...must resist
IN THE GARDEN! boo-hoo there's me stuck in the front room, with the
cat yelling on and off for her dinner - gets fed at 4pm, but that's
an example of optimism for you! I wont tell you what her name is as
it may offend someone who has the same screen name and frequents in here
lol!!! Seriously it's true!!!

jj50 - 21 May 2004 15:27 - 6354 of 23498

Stockbunny - Obviously you should sell if you are tempted - gut feeling is all! Don't forget final ex-div mid June so last year that was worth 28.56 a share. Would have to research this year's figure. Working out the cat's name!! That will keep me occupied - what colour is she?!

stockbunny - 21 May 2004 15:59 - 6355 of 23498

She's a tabby moggie and now contentedly sleeping having been
fed early - I'm too much of a soft touch!

SVT - held them since 2002 - divi is great...but the profit now
is good...if only I could buy enough in say kelda or similiar to replace
them with, I'd cash in like a shot (want to maintain a water share long
term specifically for the divi increases likely & defensive etc) and
than I'd bank the profit to earn some interest...ah dreams, they're
fine as long as they don't get too close to presenting a possible reality!
NO I will be strong - its dropped back a tad now thankfully, it's when
it's over 825p that it gets almost too much to bear!!!!!

jeffmack - 21 May 2004 16:10 - 6356 of 23498

Dont forget, no Gee Gee competition tomorrow as GD did not want to miss out while he was on holiday.

Last race for this competion round will be Saturday 29th May.

stockbunny - 21 May 2004 16:15 - 6357 of 23498

Ah Jeffius Mackius - how goes it today??
Is the sun shining upon you??

optomistic - 21 May 2004 16:40 - 6358 of 23498

Made it, rushed in out of breath. Whats it to be Bunny? especially for your words of wisdom in the Inv. Room. Dont know about locking up here, some of the entertainers keep late hours. Not sure about being able to keep up the pace

stockbunny - 21 May 2004 16:44 - 6359 of 23498

I'm sure you could manage Opto, if not just bop 'em on the head
with a bag of crisps and that should subdue them!

Just a quick cuppa tea for me - I'm under pressure to get off here
(small queue forming of one offspring wanting to check his ever-so
important email!!)

How's the day been for you?

jeffmack - 21 May 2004 16:44 - 6360 of 23498

bunny
Sun is shinning outside, I can see through the office window but have not been outside to see if its real.

stockbunny - 21 May 2004 16:48 - 6361 of 23498

Terrible - complain at once Jeff Mack! Tell them if you don't
get regular real sunshine you'll turn into a mushroom! They can't
keep you in there for ever - want us to come rescue you??

optomistic - 21 May 2004 16:51 - 6362 of 23498

Hi Bunny, easy day just spent doing the things that have to be done like cutting grass etc. Not much to do in investing as my chips are on the table, and not enough movement to make any gainfull moves.
Not sure about bopping Vasey or Dotel on the head with a bag of crisps, they would probably retaliate with the bottle of that Mumms stuff, could be painful!!

jeffmack - 21 May 2004 16:54 - 6363 of 23498

bunny
please send the rescue party straight away before the sun goes down.

Afternoon opto

stockbunny - 21 May 2004 16:56 - 6364 of 23498

No shouldn't think so Opto, they wouldn't do that to you and besides
it would spoil their display of empties over on the counter....
At least getting the grass cut is a job out of the way, and there is
a sense of achievement in having curtailed mother nature temporarily!
Have a good evening, I must disappear or I'll get bopped for hogging
the computer!!!

stockbunny - 21 May 2004 16:57 - 6365 of 23498

JeffMack - we are on our way.......errr..where are we supposed
to be going??? Anyone know???

optomistic - 21 May 2004 16:59 - 6366 of 23498

Afternoon jeffmack, have you seen the volume on BT 611 mill traded and only 2.25p change. Dont have BT but do find this interesting.

Socrates - 21 May 2004 17:26 - 6367 of 23498

Don't you just love Fridays?

stockbunny - 21 May 2004 17:44 - 6368 of 23498
