Pursuit Dynamics - A British success story in the making? (PDX)

Andy - 31 Aug 2003 11:58

Pursuit Dynamics plc is a UK based research and development company, which was founded in 2000 to develop and commercialise a revolutionary pumping and propulsion technology. Pursuit Dynamics (symbol: PDX) was listed on the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange in May 2001.

PDX 25 Sonic.

The PDX Technology is a steam-based system that has applications in both pumping and marine propulsion. It is cheap to manufacture, extremely robust, contains no moving parts and is virtually impossible to block. Pursuit Dynamics owns 100% of the Intellectual Property Rights that surround the PDX Technology.

Pursuit Dynamics is now working towards the commercialisation of the technology it has developed.

Pursuit are rumoured to be close to closing their first deals, which may be in the food processing industry.

Yes it is good if the management are responsive to shareholders... he obviously believes in himself and his company. Fair play to the guy.

The Guardian 14 June - Rumours that contract about to be signed with US Navy

Andy - 15 Jun 2005 10:01 - 638 of 1003

Oakapples,

Well spotted, but I can't see it myself.

I believe they are about to do a firemist demo for the US Navy, which MAY lead to a contract.

I would have thought the volume would have sored if such a deal was close to be honest, so I don't give this any credence at all.

if it does turn out to be true, we would see some 8_14_7.gif

Hi Andy - As the day goes by and the volumn is low I feel you must be right.
Most impressed by you firework display - how do you do that - graeful you let me know when you have time - I dont know how to copy and post here info I get from elsewhere so it would be useful

oakapples,

To save clogging the thread, please set up your email address in the "my account" section at the top of this page, and I'll explain it in a private message.

Don't worry they pass you the message without releasing your email address, which always remains anonymous, and it's a handy function allowing people to send you a message offlist.

Andy - Done and I note my details already recorded - Thanks

Regarding the fire test. It was on the USS Shadwell in Mobile Bay, Alabama, just as the AGM notes said. Now, researching this, I discovered something interesting. PDX is in the Federal Central Contractor Register, see: http://www.bpn.gov/ccrinq/scripts/search.asp then enter "Pursuit Dynamics" in the "Legal Business Nam..." field. Press Search. WARNING: you can only make a single enquiry on a particular company, so read it all. :)

The interesting bit is that they are registered as providing food processing equipment, not fire suppression! Also, there's a field "Business Start Date: 8/20/2005". So, is PDX going to supply the US Army/Navy with that stuff as well? And why does it say "Business Start Date: 8/20/2005"? Maybe we will have a nice surprise comming at the end of August.

Large movement into the blue this morning - do we have another deal on the cards?

legend290782 - 12 Jul 2005 19:09 - 644 of 1003

Not sure but am still watching with interest oa... good luck mate

Andy - 12 Jul 2005 23:26 - 645 of 1003

oakapples,

Well just as the price was weakening, back we go towards 200p again, with no news to explain the rise, YET!

Presumably ther's at least a rumour doing the rounds, maybe a deal, we shall see in due course no doubt.

Oakapples142 - 13 Jul 2005 09:36 - 646 of 1003

Morning Guys - same pattern as yesterday - Something is in the wind - wouldn`t it be nice if it was "Firemist" Much better that the more regular "Scotch Mist"

Andy - 13 Jul 2005 10:26 - 647 of 1003

Oakapples,

It certainly would!

Someone thinks they know something, that's for sure.

legend290782 - 13 Jul 2005 13:14 - 648 of 1003

oa well done for your patience... good luck

Oakapples142 - 13 Jul 2005 17:15 - 649 of 1003

Thanks legend - its not so much patience as sentiment ( OK not a wise way of behaving in this market) PDX was my first stock purchase, and at 40p, so am holding on for a 10 bagger. Andy is still there too - must be something in the Dorset air!!

PURSUIT DYNAMICS SAYS PDX SYSTEM LICENSED BY PREMIER FOODS AS SUGAR DISSOLVER

Andy - 26 Jul 2005 08:22 - 652 of 1003

Greystone,

This is indeed excellent news, the first licence, which should arouse more interest in the PDX system IMO.

--------------------------------

26 July 2005

Pursuit Dynamics plc ('Pursuit' )

Pursuit Dynamics plc, the developer of the innovative PDX processing
technology, is pleased to announce that Premier Foods plc has licensed its
first PDX system. The PDX system will be used at Premier Foods' Histon plant as
a sugar dissolver within the group's production process.

Premier Foods plc is one of the UK's leading food companies and manufactures
and markets such brands as Crosse and Blackwell, Cadbury Drinking Chocolate and
Branston Pickle.

Commenting on the announcement, John Heathcote, Chief Executive, said:

'We are delighted that Premier Foods plc are installing their first PDX system
into production. Sugar dissolving is a major application for the PDX system in
both food and soft drinks manufacturing and we are confident that this will
prove to be the first of many orders in this field. BPT (Skerman) will
manufacture and install the PDX system. We are also pleased to report an
increasing level of interest from major food and drinks companies around the
world in the PDX system for a variety of applications in those industries.'

Sorry to say that the punters do not seem to have gone overboard following this news - Is it because there is never any talk of money involved - bring on the US Navy !!!

Andy - 26 Jul 2005 10:12 - 654 of 1003

oakapples142,

You've hit the nail on the head, IMO, no confirmation of the deal value, so no huge mark up in price as the market doesn't know the value of the deal to PDX.

US navy would make a huge difference though, I agree.

Oakapples142 - 26 Jul 2005 10:25 - 655 of 1003

Andy - Until now I had missed the additional news of the setting up of A&B systems as a USA distributer - now that must be good news
