Please report bugs and enhancements (BUGS)

andy.lovell - 04 Nov 2002 11:26

If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!

Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.

The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.

This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)

If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

LAST Post - is 1 day out - just got Wednesdays

greekman - 20 Sep 2007 18:33 - 6376 of 7315

My stockwatch is at total odds with my portfolio again, so I have no idea which is correct. I will have to check correct prices with another site.
The closing prices are the same, but the days sp is showing up on one and down on the other. The percentages are also totally different.
I do appreciate that there will always be problems with IT and I know Ian and others are probably working their buts off to fix things, BUT as this appears to be a Moneyam suppliers mess up if it is not fixed soon they should be asking their supplier for compensation before they start loosing customers.
I left another site because of continuing problems over a period of (hard to believe but 2 months plus) so there is still some way to go yet.

qwento/greekman, these 2 issues are related to the problems we have had these should resolve themselves with tonights close.

greekman - the stockwatch prices are correct. Due to some wrong close prices the protfolio changes have been out, but will be rectified.

Sue, it could well have been held up somewhere between you and us, we will take a look into things this end - let me know if this happens again.

Thanks Ian,
I'm sure we all hope todays figures stay correct. Still being pacient.

Ian,

I'm, still getting 'Service temporarily unavailable' on lots of boxes on my terminal. I thought this fault had been cleared?

No sign of streaming charts yet, methinks they've still got the alarm clock set for 8.15.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 21 Sep 2007 08:08 - 6382 of 7315

Di,

Unfortunately no, the price issue and database issue we had earlier in the week have been cleared - we are workingon a resolution for this - please accept my apologies for the inconvenience,

Ian

Kayak - 21 Sep 2007 08:15 - 6383 of 7315

Yep, streaming charts have just woken up at 8.15.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 21 Sep 2007 08:16 - 6384 of 7315

Kayak,

Yep was watching them - it needs a tweak due to the changes we had to make should be back to normal Monday/Tuesday next week.

Apologies

Ian

Kayak - 24 Sep 2007 08:15 - 6385 of 7315

streaming charts started on cue at 8.15

IanT(MoneyAM) - 24 Sep 2007 08:17 - 6386 of 7315

Kayak,

That should be resolved today - it was a hangover from last weeks issues,

Ian

What bliss! Only the occasional 'Service Unavailable' today, and percentages+prices in Level 2 and Stockwatch seem to be singing from the same hymn sheet again.

Thanks for getting things sorted Ian.

greekman - 25 Sep 2007 07:56 - 6388 of 7315

Morning all,
Getting the usual Service temp unavailable again, firstly on opening main home page (twice) then when clicking on link to Stockwatch (twice).
Hope we are not in for another poor service day after a good day yesterday. Just for info at present as it is early and may be a blip

IanT(MoneyAM) - 25 Sep 2007 07:56 - 6389 of 7315

greek,

I will get Alex to take a look at the servers
