2006 / 2007 Football PremierShip !!!

G D Potts - 08 Aug 2006 17:48

The new season kicks off soon and I thought it would be good to hear some predictions and thoughts on the new season.
Personally predicting Man City to be the new champions whilst Man Utd get relegated.
Just post anything football related,

StarFrog - 15 Sep 2006 11:06 - 64 of 106

Weren't United trying to buy Gravesen? Or perhaps they did! ;-)

bigbull - 15 Sep 2006 11:07 - 65 of 106

west ham to finish in top five..........above man city!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

G D Potts - 15 Sep 2006 11:19 - 66 of 106

Just wait until Danny Sturridge breaks into the team - Tevez will be questioning whether being fat and short is a benefit.
City waiting for late uefa drive

blueman - 15 Sep 2006 12:05 - 67 of 106

Palermo showed West Ham to be a very moderate team.

More like a bottom 5 team than top 5.

Yes G.D.P., another bent United game. alexfixesmatches.com

Come on the Arsenal - at least Chelski have kept up the title race.
absolute nob that is sinclair managed to score an Own goal today.

blueman - 18 Sep 2006 09:31 - 70 of 106

Dose of reality for United - and City.

G D Potts - 18 Sep 2006 09:53 - 71 of 106

hopefully any confidence united had is gone - along with their title challenge.

blueman - 18 Sep 2006 12:02 - 72 of 106

I`ll second that.

markusantonius - 17 Oct 2006 16:26 - 73 of 106

What price Portsmouth for European qualification this season?

StarFrog - 17 Oct 2006 16:28 - 74 of 106

'price', 'Portsmouth', Harry, bung........LOL

markusantonius - 17 Oct 2006 16:35 - 75 of 106

Speaking of which - Big Sam is doing OK at Bolton these days, isn't he?

G D Potts - 17 Oct 2006 16:38 - 76 of 106

looks like its all been brushed under the carpet - Micah richards coming thorugh perfectly - england captain in five years.

markusantonius - 17 Oct 2006 16:40 - 77 of 106

Who??

G D Potts - 17 Oct 2006 18:02 - 78 of 106

you probably know him as the player that will soon rid the england team of gary neville

blueman - 17 Oct 2006 18:04 - 79 of 106

Hear Hear

markusantonius - 17 Oct 2006 18:50 - 80 of 106

Oh!

markusantonius - 17 Oct 2006 20:02 - 81 of 106

Recall my tip of Bolton winning a European place again in May, that is providing they can keep a hold on Big Sam if/when he replaces Steve MacLaren? Mind you, that would most likely be after the end of the season judging by the 5 month wait for England's next qualifier?

G D Potts - 24 Oct 2006 15:29 - 82 of 106

Now theyve got Nico they probably can - he was awsome at city.
Was at the wigan city match the other day and couldnt believe how badly we played, Pearce may need to go soon and his signing are a disgrace, Corradi is the shitest player ive ever seen in my life.
Micah, Isasksson, Sturridge and Joey are our only hope this season.

blueman - 24 Oct 2006 17:34 - 83 of 106

That`s a bit tough on Distin(if he stays), and Claudio(if he`s ever fit). Also Nicky has done reasonably well.
