Lance Armstrong lost all his titles and was disgraced for taking performance enhancing drugs. Meanwhile a proven cheat and drug taking buffoon is made an ambassador by Fifa. Sport it is not. Has anything changed since the days of Havelange and Blatter?

Things have definitely changed since Blotter done the exit.
Now the money is bigger, and corruption is follows the money..

This is the world cup of surprises....so ?....normally you would say France and Brazil...…..but who knows : Uruguay and Belgium are not to be underestimated....I agree with Harrycat...I think it's going to be a France-Belgium semi-final....in fact any of those four would be worthy finalists....

The only way England will win anything is by dragging the opposition down to our level i'm afraid , we never have a cracking game .

Get Stirling off, he cost us two goals. Should be 3-0 at half time.

Sterling is a fantastically dangerous player...….by running at the opposition he creates space for others.....we could have had four or five today....superb by England !......Please don't touch the trophy : we are not there yet but BY JOVE what an opportunity now !...

Provided they aren't 2 or 3 goals down by the time they settle in, England have an excellent chance to be in the final

Sterling had a good game today. Bring on Vardy... wasn't he the one sat on the touchline in his pyjamas with a groin injury? Nothing misses you dreamer.
Looking more and more like a Belgium - England final.

You are very arrogant iturama the way you address other posters on money am You only have to point a mistake out by a poster. Sorry stirling did not have a good game and is under immense pressure actually to score a goal. Again if we had lost he would of been heavily criticised for missing expected goals. Calls will come for Marcus Rashford to start ahead of him in the semi-final, and it is for Gareth Southgate to decide whether Rashford’s ability to finish chances is worth more to the team than Sterling’s ability to create them in the first place.
