THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Once again Cameron is failing to answer questions and as he blusters looks more and more foolish!

But I did enjoy the setup questions from the new tory lapdogs!

Cue Roy Orbison "Only The Lonely,Da Dum Do Dooby Do Ahh" :0)

"for cameron, substitute fred"

???????

I must be missing something odd from Fred to get that response!

Stan - 04 Nov 2015 15:06 - 64347 of 81564

You certainly are missing something H/S. can't put my finger on it though just now.

Manuel,

I am not paid to answer questions, but Cameron is!

But have to admit JC is doing very well and Wacky Dave doesn't need any blusher.

The post number doesn't help as I don't read Fred's posts.

Cameron was on good form today

“Look at his appointments. His media adviser is a Stalinist. His new policy adviser is a Trotskyist. And his economic adviser is a communist. If he’s trying to move the Labour Party to the left, I’d give him full Marx.”

LOL!!!

cynic - 04 Nov 2015 15:37 - 64356 of 81564

no fred
you may THINK politicians are paid to answer questions, but even most children know that politicians (of all ranks) are trained NOT to answer questions ...... the trick is to make it appear that you have told plenty, when in fact little or no info has been divulged, and indeed the facts or outocme may be very different from what you THOUGHT had been divulged

Fred1new - 04 Nov 2015 15:38 - 64357 of 81564

I am surprised that hays ever managed to learn to read.

He generally has to pop down to Central Office and taught the most recent mantras.

Told it is hard work teaching him the words.

-=-===

Mind he should fit in with the new tory choir.

Sorry new tory party parliamentary intake.

What a ghastly lot!

For those who haven't read this book and want a bed time smile have a look at:

The Political Animal: An Anatomy

By Jeremy Paxman.

Can download to a Kindle.

I know I am behind the times, but he is witty and does endorse my view of politics.

OK. Now I see

Actually Cameron did answer the question as he did last time. The answer was "it will be answered in the autumn statement. Corbyn looked silly. He tried to make a point but it fell very flat

Fred1new - 04 Nov 2015 16:40 - 64360 of 81564

But at the moment Cameron hasn't got a clue.

Gives me confidence in his ability in his when negotiating with the EU.

jimmy b - 04 Nov 2015 16:43 - 64361 of 81564

Because Corbyn would be great at that wouldn't he ?

Fred1new - 04 Nov 2015 16:44 - 64362 of 81564

By the way hays, now that you can see again, I wonder if in a while you may be able to think.
