THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Well I guess Jihadi John is very dissappointed at this moment. No 72 virgins for him then. Just a burnt hole in the road.

The NHS is considering banning doctors from prescribing homeopathy treatments.

Jihadi John - Cameron "The right thing to do"

Corbyn "Pity he wasn't brought to justice in a court of law"

Corbyn: Jihadi John should have been arrested, not killed
Expect a reaction to this.
Finally, Jeremy Corbyn, the Labour leader, has come out with a statement, saying it would have been "far better" if Jihadi John had been tried in court rather than killed.
He said:
Quote
We await identification of the person targeted in last night's US air attack in Syria. It appears Mohammed Emwazi has been held to account for his callous and brutal crimes.
"However, it would have been far better for us all if he had been held to account in a court of law.
"These events only underline the necessity of accelerating international efforts, under the auspices of the UN, to bring an end to the Syrian conflict as part of a comprehensive regional settlement."
Corbyn's only tweet so far today is on a completely different matter and says:

Good to see Cameron rejoicing in a new ISIS martyr. Almost expected Cameron to claim that he had pulled the trigger himself.

Nothing like a little self-publicity!

iturama - 13 Nov 2015 13:09 - 64460 of 81564

I wouldn't have minded if he was tried in Baghdad, It would have been quite nice to see his face when they put the noose around his scrawny neck.

iturama - 13 Nov 2015 13:11 - 64461 of 81564

Jihadi John I mean but if Corbyn fits so be it. :)

Chris Carson - 13 Nov 2015 13:20 - 64462 of 81564

Bollocks! Live by the sword, die by the sword! No mercy given to the poor bastards he cut their heads off, filmed it and circulated worldwide. Good riddance.

Haystack - 13 Nov 2015 13:20 - 64463 of 81564

Corbyn thinks the solution is dialogue with ISIS.

iturama - 13 Nov 2015 13:23 - 64464 of 81564

Maybe we should send him as a special envoy to Raqqa. He will soon find out if dialogue works.

iturama - 13 Nov 2015 13:26 - 64465 of 81564

He died too quickly IMO Chris. Didn't know what hit him.

Chris Carson - 13 Nov 2015 13:33 - 64466 of 81564

Don't care iturama, if Corbyn had his way no doubt he would attempt to have extradited him to Britain and you and I would be paying for his X Box while he languished in jail. As it is, done and dusted, now let's wipe out the rest of them.

Haystack - 13 Nov 2015 13:35 - 64467 of 81564

I can imagine Corbyn discussing socialism and world peace with a jihadi who is swinging a large sword.

Fred1new - 13 Nov 2015 13:47 - 64468 of 81564

Corbyn does have you lot worried!

Y?

Chris Carson - 13 Nov 2015 13:51 - 64470 of 81564

No more than any left wing socialist. :0)

jimmy b - 13 Nov 2015 13:59 - 64471 of 81564

Don't be stupid Fred, Corbyn has absolutely no chance of winning an election and you know it ! .
It's actually a shame that Cameron doesn't have strong opposition all parties need that to keep them on their toes.

As for John ,if it was an air strike that is a big shame because he wouldn't have know much about it ,not like the people who he beheaded , shame the SAS didn't get hold of him ,they are out there executing isis ,which is great , send the best out there and kill ,kill ,KILL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

jimmy b - 13 Nov 2015 14:00 - 64472 of 81564

KILL i said Fred !!!!!!!!!!!!!! no taking prisoners !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
