Gerald Malone replied as follows:
Dear Sir,
I am dealing with emails following yesterdays speech by the Secretary of State for Health and the RNS issued by Ultrasis. My normal inclination to be resolutely polite to all shareholders is stretched by the abusive tone you have adopted, but I will do my best.

A quoted company is obliged to put accurate information into the public domain, not add spin. What the market then makes of it is the markets business. Are you suggesting that the RNS should have contained false, misleading information? It made the point that the DoH has replaced the original timeline for deploying cCBT and Beating the Blues, extending it through 2008. The key point for Ultrasis is that a contractual framework is agreed and you may bet your bottom dollar on the fact that the team here will now be battling to accelerate the deployment of Beating the Blues across all PCTs in England.

When there is more solid achievement to announce, shareholders will be the first to know. On reflection Im sure you would wish to reconsider what I hope was a frustrated slur against the management team. From where I sit they performed remarkably robustly when it might have been tempting to accede to unreasonable demands from DoH negotiators.

Launching cCBT Implementation Guidance that will help the NHS to deliver these innovative therapies to patients, ahead of her speech at the MIND annual conference in Bournemouth, Patricia Hewitt said:

In addition, 360K (estimate) will be invested in computerized CBT and a further 290K in primary care in 2007/2008 eg graduate workers. Health Secretary Boosts Ultrasis

The future prospects of healthcare specialist ULTRASIS (ULT:AIM) look a good deal more rosy after the secretary of state for health, Patricia Hewitt, recently launched the company backed implementation Guidance for cognitive Behavioural Therapy delivered by computer (cCBT) scheme.

The cCBT programme will be run out during the course of the next two years across all primary care trusts (PCT) in England. Guidance issued by the National Institue for Health and clinical Excellence (NICE) in February last year recommended that the therapy be available in all PCTs by 31st March.

However, Ultrasis - a shares tip for 2007 at 1.48 (21st Dec 06)has confirmed it has yet to enter into any direct National Framework agreement contracts to provide cCBT. A limited number of primary care trusts so however, currently have Ultrasis' flagship cCBT therapy 'beating the blues' and the group is determined to stick to the new timescale set by Hewitt.

Back in January, the company entered into a partnership deal with Priory Group to supply its 'Beating the blues' product. Shares have picked up pace this month, peaking at 1.77p, having reached a low of 1.29p back in February. But they are proving highly volatile, edging back back to around the 1.44p level since.

*Shares says: improving outlook but the shares remain unpredictable.

Have been out of this one for a while but now back in at 1.539 as I believe that the NHS has no other option than to sign up for btb. (waiting to see if Patricia Hewitt actually is going to do some good for the NHS for a change)
