MELDEX. Double your money- quicktime. (MDX)

kitosdad - 12 Dec 2007 16:20

The engines have fired up at last for MDX. ( BPRG ) At long last they are being recognised for the force they will become over the next two years. On the cusp of disclosing huge revenue-earning deals with Global pharmacists. These have been hinted at as being unrolled before the years end, but may be in the next days. You still have time to get in at a bargain-basement price before the SP takes off for real shortly.

jeffmack - 20 Feb 2009 14:06 - 6458 of 8631

Al
In case you didnt get it, you back at least 2 horses in a race. When Tabby goes long a stock he also goes short the same stock. Thats why he is such a winner...

hilary - 20 Feb 2009 14:08 - 6459 of 8631

Chilli,

Your analogy in post 6450 is all very well, but if you saw that your 2k punt was limping before the race, I'm sure that you'd have tried to hedge your bets to mitigate your risk and optimise your return.

The same goes with MDX. When you saw that the dog might have flees many months ago you could have sprayed a few to mitigate your risk.

Yes, you might still have won with your other positions which may have more than offset your loss from MDX. But you could have cut the MDX loss sooner and made even more.

tabasco - 20 Feb 2009 14:30 - 6460 of 8631

What you talking about JeffIm covering at around 4/6 on the race.and Im long and short on stocks and ftsedont confuse bouncy anymore

HilaryI didnt see the 2k punt limpingneither did Barry or Deryn Coller {Lexus} the horse was very cleverly drugged.but point taken

Bouncy Ive filled that shed up that you are on aboutask Jeff my punt on the ftse @ 4457.called it a 1000 down for the first quarter as a cover on four stocksthat was luckyone of the stocks bullet proof at the momentthree others holding their own and morelatest buy oxb shortly to flyall while the ftse is bombingthat right Jeff!!!

Big Al - 20 Feb 2009 14:34 - 6461 of 8631

tabasco - 20 Feb 2009 14:42 - 6466 of 8631

Jeffdid you go to the same school as bouncy?

jeffmack - 20 Feb 2009 14:48 - 6467 of 8631

No, but unlike you I usually pick one horse in a race, hopefully the winner.
The only race I might pick more than one is the grand national

Big Al - 20 Feb 2009 15:03 - 6468 of 8631

Odd man out again, Tabatha? Eventually the penny will drop ............... then again!

ROFLMAO!

tabasco - 20 Feb 2009 15:05 - 6469 of 8631

Jeff all joking aside I can work out values in a race(odds compile)a tissue price is a predicted opening show by a compiler that you read in your paperI could spend two hours on the race and come to a different conclusionif I have a vast difference of opinionI will back two maybe more horsesI could back something at 5/1 early morning and I may end up 5/2.thats tradable without the race being runmany times I have a horse running for nothing.and thats all the info you are getting out of me
Just one thought.if your life depended on calling a correct number on a roulette table and you had 35 calls.would you call the same number 35 times or 35 different numbers on one spinif you choose the second optionin other words play the houseyou are some way in understanding an edge!

Big Al - 20 Feb 2009 15:06 - 6470 of 8631

What happened to your MDX horse?
