Good morning Socs that will do nicely for me. Glad I'm not fond of doughnuts, they must be in short supply after last night. Some appetite those girls :-)

Socrates - 22 May 2004 10:55 - 6457 of 23498

Girls? Appetites? Let's not get into that! I'll nip into Harrods and get a selection of Krispy Kreme doughnuts, that should fill a hole.

snoball - 22 May 2004 13:55 - 6458 of 23498

You back from Harrods yet, Socs?

optomistic - 22 May 2004 14:04 - 6459 of 23498

Krispy Kreme doughnuts from Harrods Socs, bring those in and you could become excreeeeeemly popular

Socrates - 22 May 2004 16:08 - 6460 of 23498

Hi folks, doughnuts in plenty on the bar, all varieties. I am particularly taken by the Caramel and Branston Pickle variety. Unusual to say the least. Not impressed by the strawberry jam and anchovy though.

More tea Vicar?

Also been hunting for a car. Not new, market profits don't run to that yet, but the hunt is on.

dotel - 22 May 2004 20:23 - 6461 of 23498

Just popped in for a double...it'll pass the time for the next 5 minutes ;)

Thought someone ought to clear up the mess of crisps on the floor - who did that? (may as well get used to the fact that I'll have to go back to my cleaning job on Monday after all)

snoball - 23 May 2004 00:52 - 6462 of 23498

.

optomistic - 23 May 2004 10:36 - 6463 of 23498

Good morning all
Just been having a browse around and feel the need for some refreshment, whats on the menu this morning, am I too late for a Bunny's special breakfast?

jeffmack - 23 May 2004 11:41 - 6464 of 23498

Morning campers.
Looks like GD should have stayed at home as its been raining in the Costa Del Sol

vasey - 23 May 2004 16:09 - 6465 of 23498

Cats and dogs, jeff?

Socrates - 23 May 2004 22:26 - 6466 of 23498

Gatos y perros, surely, in the Costa del Sol.

amberjane - 24 May 2004 00:57 - 6467 of 23498

Socs, How r u? Hunting for a car, would that be the Lambourghini, with the leather straps (um seat belts, u know)?? and have you started that building work yet? times ticking on. Finished my painting, gardening and pond renovations so I've got a few hours if you wanna get started?

Just have one of those tasty d'nuts b4 I turn in, cheers.

jj50 - 24 May 2004 09:16 - 6468 of 23498

Morning all.

Time for a donut and a nice black expresso, please. Offspring doing AS Maths/Mechanics paper today so I am in need of early sustanance! Going to be a long month ahead... Sun shining here but have garage to clear to make way for daughter coming back from Uni in Spain with car load of stuff, boyfriend, etc. - you think they leave home but they are like boomerangs coming back with ever more belongings, friends, etc.etc. Anyway, it's all good fun but better get some stop losses in place if I am going to be out.

Hope u all had a good week-end ... not too much sun burn and ease off all the tasks amberjane - I have this picture of you sitting by the new pond, immaculate garden with smell of fresh paint wafting by you - and I am feeling lazy!

amberjane - 24 May 2004 10:59 - 6469 of 23498

I get the feeling jj that even though u may be 'feeling' lazy that with your family u aint gunna get a chance to be it!

Shame yr not nearer to join me by the pond, with trickling waterfall, wafting smells of lillies, jasmine and honeysuckle, under a newly painted blue gazebo. We could watch the chirping bule tit family feeding and the fifteen 3 & 4 week old bunnies hopping all around the blossom laced grass. The smell of the freshly baked bread and scones wafting from the kitchen...(oh no that bits not true, cant cook, that'll have to be your contribution).

Still, shame you've got the gargae to clear......I'll have to sit on my own. anyone for lunch?

vasey - 24 May 2004 11:13 - 6470 of 23498

Glorious weather this morning. All the rhododendrons on the terrace are a riot of colour and the sweet-peas are flowering and clambering everywhere. Thought we could christen the barbecue for lunch, aj..... I've got some scallops marinading in soy sauce with scallions and fresh ginger and I'm sure we could rustle up a salad.....plus I've already put a bottle of Rully premier cru in the fridge.....should I make that 2, dotel?

amberjane - 24 May 2004 11:34 - 6471 of 23498

My rhodys are all finished, must have had an earlier summer than you.
Lunch sounds delicious, I'll just toss in a couple of prawns, tigers of course, as an extra, and settle down in the sun...ummm

jj50 - 24 May 2004 13:17 - 6472 of 23498

Escaped from the garage for a quick break - garage looking better, kitchen however looking fuller!

Your garden sounds wonderful amberjane although I am not sure all those bunnies might not lead to the destruction of the perfect garden. No time to join you and Vasey for those delicious sounding scallops although my mouth is watering at the very thought of them ..........enjoy ............

snoball - 24 May 2004 16:42 - 6473 of 23498

Time for tea.
Kettles on.

stockbunny - 24 May 2004 16:51 - 6474 of 23498
