THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Being serious.......excellent coverage by the BBC news over this terrible ......terrible weekend......but where the hell is the ITV coverage ?....I did not see one single bulletin all weekend ???.....they are so obsessed by the x factor and celebrity stuff that news is forgotten....there are priorities and reports from Paris should take precedent over C celebs nonsense !....

Haystack - 16 Nov 2015 21:54 - 64676 of 81564

It is worth reading about Lady C. She was born a man, but it was a medical mistake. She had a pretty bad childhood. She married Lord Colin Campbell after knowing him for a few days. Then left him after a year. After a divorce the wife of a Lord keeps the title Lady as a courtesy unil she remarries.

Might be worth a punt on her winning then !...the problem is that the news should come first in these terrible times because Britain as well as France and Belgium is at risk here......I reckon that the French Foreign Legion or Parashutist elite regiments are about to teach those bastards a lesson !.......

If I'd known the show was going to be this good, I would have worn my pearls. Wifey is already eating her orange with a knife and fork. I'm damned if I'm going to wash up after her! In fact, I shan't even go within 50 yards of the sink! Bollocks to it!

(By the way, what are bollocks?)

Fantastic, absolutely classic TV. :-)

dreamcatcher - 16 Nov 2015 22:12 - 64679 of 81564

lol. Are you lady C ? :-))

Is that the show on here....wow...or the tv stuff....I mean the news has to be numer uno at the mo....the jungle is all very good I suppose but can you enjoy properly those antics with the atrocities that have been commited...I watched hours and hours of bulletins fron the beeb this weekend...and there was not a blinkin thing from Itn...or such...their bulletins are at all sorts of nonsense hours.....I guess that they don't work at weekends !....

Cynthia Payne once paid me by cheque....it bounced !....I can prove it.....

Jeremy Corbyn was also pressed three times during an interview on whether he would ever support UK military action against Isis in the light of Friday's tragedy. "I'm not saying I would or I wouldn't," he told BBC News on Monday.

Jeremy Corbyn will not give Labour MPs a free vote on Syria air strikes

The Labour leader criticised No 10’s order that special forces should ‘neutralise terrorists, rather than cordon and negotiate’

France is writing messages on the bombs they are dropping on ISIS such as "with love from Paris".
