Continuing the transport theme.... just back from the closing 'ceremony' for Digbeth Coach Station....

Are yes saw a news item on that couple of weeks back, looking towards seeing the new one (in a couple of years I think) open. Did you get a chance to pop in to our former venue The Anchor to see if there were any changes?

Only got to the Coach Station itself. Sat inside a couple of the old Midland Red single deckers including one that used to run to Shrewsbury. Also got aboard the very latest large delux coach which is due for the Heathrow route. Young one was in tow so didn't get to any drinking establishments. I've never been in the Anchor before. All the area on south side of Coach Station being demolished - think thats the area that is going to have the 'Digbeth Place' developement of apartments, bars, restaurants and a hotel. Yes, the new coach station should be ready in two years time (on site of the existing one).

Auctioneers believed the interior of a pub being sold in Handsworth, Birmingham, may be worth more than the building.
