Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

Cyners,
What's bollocks is your attempt at correlation between good or bad parenting and an apathy towards refugees. The two are mutually exclusive.
And that's ignoring any suspected inference that I might in any way be a bad mother.
Dickhead!

hilary - i suggested no such thing .... you choose to interpret it that way for whatever reason
however, i am certainly amazed that you have no sympathy or feeling of any obligation whatsoever towards those who have patently been displaced and worse by IS in syria ..... shall we take the yazidis to give a very specific example?

Hey, Haze and Manuel.
I thought the Mail was one of the con party's friends!
What is behind this headline?
Pop down to Con Party Central Office "headquarters" and get the new spiel:
Sex, drugs and blackmail claims rock the Tories: Party chiefs are accused of cover-up over allegations against bullying PM's aide who 'had sex dossiers on four MPs'
Whistleblower claims aide encourage young Tory activist to sleep with MPs
The aide - Mark Clarke - was determined to secure top political position
Claims he kept dirt on everybody in party to use as leverage in the future
Comes after he was accused of bullying activist Elliot Johnson who killed himself in September
Do you know the answers.

Hastack, when you ask questions u expect an answer.

WENTWORTH
i doubt that many of you have much interest, though the article may amuse you
it's from today's FT (Lombard column) in the paper
Richard Caring
Fore!
Chinese President Xi Jinping’s state visit to the UK last month may have been trumpeted by both sides as a “golden era” in bilateral ties.
But over at the exclusive Wentworth golf club in Surrey, UK-Sino relations are under strain.
Wentworth’s new Chinese owner Reignwood said last month that its 4,000 members will have to reapply for just 800 membership places, and they must pay a £100,000 fee or lose their membership.
Now Wentworth’s disgruntled members are fighting back.
The Wentworth Residents Association is today set to approve a resolution to make a
challenge to Reignwood’s proposals. A group of members and residents have formed “Wet Feet”, named after an old Chinese proverb: “It never rains on your
neighbours without you getting your feet wet.”
They are claiming broken promises on all sides.
Richard Caring, pictured, the ultrawealthy restaurateur who sold the club to the Chinese for £135m, remains a director of Wentworth, having—as they see it—welched
on his pledge to find “an owner with integrity [in] recognition of the iconic nature of Wentworth”. And Reignwood had promised “it was committed to preserving [the
club’s] unique culture”.
One irony— back in China, the Communist Party has banned all 88m of its members
from joining golf clubs because they’re too elitist.
