Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

A way of protecting populations in the future would be that for instance if you came into the capital you be obliged to have a tag/chip on you and if you didn't have one on your person ; it would be picked up by detectors along the way....a bit like congestion charging in Singapore but more elaborate....criminals and terrorists would find life very difficult......London could have a pilot scheme...

chuckle
and if the tag is not somehow attached to you, what is to stop you passing it around?

Even ID cards didn't get adopted. There iis no chance of 'chipping' people. What would you do about business and other visitors from other parts of UK? What would happen to tourists from other countries? And what would happen to the millions like me who would refuse to join in? The necessary legislation would never get passed.

The system would get hacked with counterfeit chips available giving a false sense of security.

The tag would identify you with who you are....look at epassports...that is the way forward ...the tag would allow you with your visual confirmed to be able to enter public buildings/crossing points all over the city...if without : you would be intercepted quickly...these chips are getting more and more difficult to counterfeit....

Without the confirmed chip/visual : no entry or you would be arrested without identification....chips are minute, and only people like microsoft and wolfson and such can make them....

Not on a person...no point....the chip can be carried or part of your mobile or such...but coupled with visual confirmation...these things are coming ....
