Football, What chances !, World Cup, Euro, Clubs, for all : home and away ! (FC)

required field - 14 Jul 2010 13:55

It is now time to switch to a new Money AM football blog as the world cup is now over and we all look to the future.....World cup 2010 is over, Bravo Espana, and Forlan, once again and bring on the new season !.....I never expected the last thread to be such a success...thanks all.... so this new one might go on for years without the need to edit the title...we shall see...

That clown Vokes didn't play Stan , obviously as we scored 4.

The youngsters we got coming through give me confidence that we can actually make a WC finals next time around.

Ampedu of Chelsea was awesome and he's still only 17 , Brooks of Bournemouth looks like our next Aaron Ramsey , Tom Lawrence gets better every game and it's hard for me say this but the young full back from Scumsea who scored on his debut looks the real deal too.

Be a better test Sunday against Denmark away , Ireland were awful.

I think Spain are very beatable now !.....England have to carry on from the world cup...…..

Dil - 07 Sep 2018 15:59 - 6516 of 6918

... where they did so well in losing to Belgium twice and Croatia , drawing with Columbia , beating the mighty Tunisia in the last minute and beating Sweden and Panama.

Stan - 07 Sep 2018 20:12 - 6517 of 6918

A. Ireland were forced to field several squad and semi fit players because of injuries.

B. “........ Wales to make the WC finals next time around?” You should really keep your Ribina consumption to a realistic level 😂

C. As for “only” scoring 4 goals, if you had played “super Sam” from the start you would have scored 6 at least.

The WC semi-finalists England chances against Spain are of course very very good in my humble.

I nearly forgot Dil, did sick note Giggs actually turn up for your game?

Dil - 08 Sep 2018 09:25 - 6518 of 6918

Sick note regularly turned up for competitive matches Stan but missed all the friendlies bar one when he was about 30.

How can you be semi injured , that's rubbish and as for squad players they had one guy making his competitive debut and we had three including the 17 year old who was man of the match.

We play Spain next month so let's see who can stick the most on them us or your lot.

Dil - 08 Sep 2018 09:27 - 6519 of 6918

And everyone in the country should get behind Southgate in his quest to reduce the number of overseas players in our leagues.

Stan - 08 Sep 2018 12:51 - 6520 of 6918

Dill please pay attention I didn’t say “semi-injury” I said “semi-fit” I.E. carrying an injury but thought not serious enough not to be selected if really needed.

As for Giggs...once a sick note always a sick note.

Dil - 08 Sep 2018 18:01 - 6521 of 6918

If your fit enough to play your fit.

Stan - 08 Sep 2018 18:34 - 6522 of 6918

Not if your club is an established Premier and European qualifying club your not, we at the high table of football demand a higher level of fitness... unlike some I could mention 😆

required field - 08 Sep 2018 20:10 - 6523 of 6918

Please don't knock Ryan Giggs…..was world class welsh player......anyway.....which bloody channel is the blinkin' England game on ?…..grrrr….

required field - 08 Sep 2018 20:21 - 6524 of 6918

Damn ...2-1 down....need a touch of the Sir Francis Drakes here.....finish the game of bowls...and then lick the Spanish.....come to think of it ...that's what the retired footballer said to the Iberian porn girl......

required field - 08 Sep 2018 21:49 - 6525 of 6918

Just can't seem to beat the main countries.....without seeing the game I can guess it's a lack of guile and too much of the big pass and big shot style of play....the premiership is one thing but at the national level you need to be able to pull opposing players around a bit....

Stan - 08 Sep 2018 21:57 - 6526 of 6918

First home defeat in an international tournament in eleven years for England so not to bad in context.

VICTIM - 09 Sep 2018 07:15 - 6527 of 6918

It's on Sky only rf , they have the rights to England games , but highlights i think on ITV .

Dil - 09 Sep 2018 10:17 - 6528 of 6918

Stan , when your tin pot club beat Real Madrid in Europe and reach the semi final of a European competition then you can compare yourself with the mighty Cardiff.

Besides being first loss at home in competitive match for eleven years it's the first time England have lost 3 in a row for 30 years.

Back to the drawing board.

Dil - 09 Sep 2018 10:20 - 6529 of 6918

rf , all the Welsh games are on S4C if you want to watch some proper football.

Stan - 09 Sep 2018 11:07 - 6530 of 6918

''the mighty Cardiff'' and whats that when its at home 😁

What a muppet sick note is he still hasn’t selected “Super Sam” to start against Denmark tonight.

Dil - 10 Sep 2018 07:18 - 6531 of 6918

Jury still out on Giggs.

Style of play is much better than Colemans but leaving out creative midfielder Brooks and replacing him with Gunter then changing the shape of the team was stupid. Needs to be reminded he's managing Wales not bloody Man United.

Stan , Barry town have played more European games than Burnley.

Stan - 10 Sep 2018 21:44 - 6532 of 6918

Denmark 2 Wales 0. Poor old Wales beaten away yet again, getting tonked and still your hapless excuse for a manager doesn’t bring super sub Sam Volkes on to rescue them.

If sick note’s a manager then I’m a Welshman ... and what hell have Barry Town got to do with top class football?😂

Dil - 11 Sep 2018 11:04 - 6533 of 6918

won their national league more times than Burnley.
