THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Interesting article:

But Manuel needs a rest after his last post:

VICTIM - 24 Nov 2015 08:38 - 65154 of 81564

Quite right even if Farage had gone on the street like that he would have protesters , but not a soul does anything , disgraceful where were the Police .

cynic - 24 Nov 2015 08:39 - 65155 of 81564

wake up fred!
it's no news that i regularly read at least some of the articles in the guardian ..... mind you, i do get it as freeby on line every morning :-)

jimmy b - 24 Nov 2015 08:41 - 65156 of 81564

And the men preaching hatred in the street , if i started a row with them the police would jump on me for causing trouble ..
What has happened to the UK ? we are finished where is the spirit from the second world war .
It will get much worse soon in Europe and the UK ,the leaders are all raving bonkers and Merkel should be put in jail ..

VICTIM - 24 Nov 2015 08:47 - 65157 of 81564

This is why we are in this position too much tolerance of these people from the start , most probably get housed and benefits , if they hate us so much why don't they feck orf .

cynic - 24 Nov 2015 08:49 - 65158 of 81564

fred - are you still advocating "your" open door policy for all who manage to get across the mediterranean or sneak into europe through some other route?

VICTIM - 24 Nov 2015 08:51 - 65159 of 81564

Someones saying it's a Russian jet maybe we'll have a new problem if this ends.

jimmy b - 24 Nov 2015 08:54 - 65160 of 81564

cynic ,why do you bother ,i squelched Fred ,he is only tying to wind you up .
You should have seen the Channel 4 programme last night .

Fred1new - 24 Nov 2015 08:55 - 65161 of 81564

Manuel,

Reread previous posts.

Advocated "transit" camps and European and UN (World Wide) cooperation on a humanitarian basis.

=-=-=-

Better than bombing more "exiles" out of from Syria and such.

VICTIM - 24 Nov 2015 08:57 - 65162 of 81564

Jimmy it would be interesting to know if those women went into work today after that .

TANKER - 24 Nov 2015 09:00 - 65163 of 81564

THE POLICE REPORT CRIME TO PROTECT THE PUBLIC
ARE THE MET POLICE TAKING THE PISS ,
WHY HAVE THEY NOT ACTED AND ARRESTED THE SCUM

Fred1new - 24 Nov 2015 09:01 - 65164 of 81564

JB, Seems wound up enough!

8-)

-=-=-===

Russia was warned earlier by Turkey.

It may be a deliberate action on the part of Turkey's Government to put a division between "West" and Russia rather than a "mistake".

Wonder what Russia is considering as a response!

VICTIM - 24 Nov 2015 09:04 - 65165 of 81564

Well they did destroy Erdogans sons oil tankers supplying ISIS with oil so I suppose .

jimmy b - 24 Nov 2015 09:10 - 65166 of 81564

VIC , they don't have jobs ,you are paying for them .

Fred1new - 24 Nov 2015 09:11 - 65167 of 81564

Manuel,

I had noticed with surprise.

I thought there is still time for you to reform.

I have to admit I read the Guardian or some of it on line.

Must admit I feel a bit of embarrassment doing so and considering a donation.

Interesting comment on the pilots of the down Russian plane may be held as hostages.

How will that play at home for Putin.

UMMH.

-=-=-=-==

JB,

You and the tinker seem to be printing "hate" on this thread and are tolerated.

Fred1new - 24 Nov 2015 09:18 - 65168 of 81564

Manuel,

Looking at The Syrian problem from a "safe" distance it strikes me as a bloody confusion.

One thing I was taught when younger was when everything seemed confused about me was to sit back and think.

Sometimes a pattern could be seen in the confusion making the problems easier to resolve.

That seems to be going on at the moment.

Fools rush in where other fear to tread.

cynic - 24 Nov 2015 09:18 - 65169 of 81564

fred - the humanitarian aspect of transit camps within europe is fine ..... unfortunately, the idea is badly flawed thanks to the murderous intent of the few

on the other hand, the concept of transit camps in/around syria itself is surely a far better concept, for at least those seeking asylum (all of them!) can be screened with at least some degree of thoroughness and accuracy

=============

who are the current suspects for shooting down this russian military jet - and in turkish air space?
at time of writing, nothing has been confirmed

TANKER - 24 Nov 2015 09:26 - 65170 of 81564

turkey avoid do not go their for hols its not safe you risk being killed

cynic - 24 Nov 2015 09:32 - 65171 of 81564

the turkish border with syria has long been a danger zone, so nothing new there at all
however, there is no good reason to shun anywhere west of say antalya ...... no more risk there than going to somewhere like dubai

jimmy b - 24 Nov 2015 09:34 - 65172 of 81564

I've no doubt Fred is giving his usual love a terrorist and free speech crap after reading the posts on the channel 4 programme this morning .
