Please report bugs and enhancements (BUGS)

andy.lovell - 04 Nov 2002 11:26

If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!

Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.

The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.

This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)

If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

Time Traveller,

When the login page shows, does it actually say you are still logged in (via the grey strip?)

TulletJ,
Can't tell you now as that was yesterday and it is working today. At the time I was already logged in with a window with the Traders Thread showing. The new Stockwatch window was in a loop.
Sorry I can't be more helpful now.

Just tried searching for a thread started by myself and got this errror.

BUT YOUR BIGGEST BUG IS......
I am trying to find out what services you offer at what price and the only clue I get is when I go to 'my account' upgrade subscription, there it tells me what I can pay but not what you will provide ( if anything ) in return ???? weird and some what dumb if you ask me

Its probably all my fault, you've no doubt got it hidden under a big button that says, HERE YOU ARE, THIS IS THE SERVICE WE ARE OFFFERING and its just my stupidity which is preventing me from seeing it, if this is the case could provide a link directly to the information for me. If it isn't my stupidity then maybe get your markets bods to cater for the cerebraly challenged like myself and make it a bit more obvious
Thank in advance
appologies for the tine of voice

Just checked out the site map and couldn't find it any hint of anything that might lead me to a page of information indicating what you are selling either.

how very british rail of you

P.S.
it has occurred to me and I thought I'd share it with you as it might not have occurred to you that some people are not subscribing because they dont know what they are subscribing to, if you take this logic train to its conclusion then it is probable that it might just be costing you money... Just a thought

Bullshare - 05 Feb 2003 20:27 - 657 of 7315

You are right the subscription details etc are not prominent enough and w eare working on it. It is available from the front page but here is the URL anyway.

http://www.moneyam.com/sub.php

We also are fixing the search by poster button.

many thanks, I assume ( because its not mentioned ) that the charts/prices are not streaming.
When do you expect to get US Indecies realtime ?

Bullshare - 05 Feb 2003 20:47 - 659 of 7315

adam; The streaming charts are about to be written. We have real time worldwide indices in the back end and will start talking to the various exchanges about rolling them out to our customers later.

We know about this one, but it's slightly harder to trace error that it first seems. Sorry for the inconvenience, we'll get to the bottom of it.

HISCOX PLC TICKER CODE HSX STILL SHOWS AS HANG SENG INDEX

BTW This is the third time I have posted this in last six weeks.

Surely you can get all FTSE shares correct?

MightyMicro - 05 Feb 2003 23:48 - 663 of 7315

Ash:

This may be our data providers that are screwing this up. I'll get on to it.

Cheers

Derek

Mr Ashley James - 06 Feb 2003 01:36 - 664 of 7315

Derek,

Thank you

Ash

Bullshare - 06 Feb 2003 07:03 - 665 of 7315

The data providers have HSX as both Hang Seng and Hiscox, they are doing a fix so they say.
