My two bits: I don't think they should have let the hardware division go. The new 650SX Sparcle laptop looks good for its niche market.

maybe so but LOW margins and all the aggro that comes with guarantees and maintenance.when you invest in a co like tad you need to trust that the management ( whatever happened to hale and pace)? knows what they are doing.

superrod: trust the management? I have to say that my experience of investors suggests that that is the last thing they do. At least with VCs.

And I am well aware of the fundamental differences in the hardware and software business models: hardware decays and breaks and requires physical transportation and replacement -- software is decayed and broken as soon as it's delivered but has the merit of being capable of virtual delivery, even if it's never actually fully fixed.

What about the potential markets for the Tadpole software products (ignore the Hardware that's history)

Personally I think this company is totally overvalued given their turnover and the competition in the spaces they are trying to compete in. The balance sheet stinks and they have nothing to fall back on after the GEM agreement ends, unless of course it is renegotiated which wouldn't surprise me.

why does everyone ignore the MS endorsement? this is "must have" software imho. the sales team needs to get off its arse.

The MS "endorsement" is meaningless and worthless. If Microsoft thought this was worth anything they'd either (a) do it themselves and walk all over TAD or (b) have bought them by now. You could cling on to the hope that (b) may occur. Don't hold your breath.
