In the recent Agm the chairman said "the company has made a positive start to the financial year and the board remains optimistic about prospects for the business."

Pre-tax losses have also nearly halved from 6.4 mln to a loss of 3.4 mln on cost cutting. They have also had a successful fund raising.

Also chart indicators show that it may be time for the next leg upwards past recent resistance at 7.5p. and please remember you are responsible for the timing of your own buying and selling actions.

Nice to see IDD at the top of the day's gainers chart. Not sure if there's any news about or just correction from last week's drop. As you say...fingers crossed.

Morning capetown - I'd like to think that there must be some positive news after they relocated their production to Poland (with all those cost savings)...and maybe some new contracts...and.....

Anyway..can't sit in front of a screen on a day like this. Off to the dump!!

as soon as ID cards are mentioned in the Press the mm`s rack up the offer, in case of interest- look at that spread, another false dawn.

Lets hope not,sequester,we might have some good news soon,there has been more buying recently.

capetown, it's not what company's say it's how the market react to the news thats the most important thing, at the moment it doesn't look too good...they need an unexpected contract to turn this around I think, other wise it may take a year or two. This isn't intended as advice to anyone, just my thoughts. I am a share holder & obversely want to see IDD grow. regards goal.

Goal,thanks for your comments,i too am a shareholder,and ashtead comes to mind!,so i will hold and agree with your sentiments,will put these in the bottom draw.you never know,they could be the next aht or indeed mt.s,heres hoping.

I'm stuck with these too - bought at 2.9p (think I was trying to unsuccesfully trade these and got caught with them rather than selling at a loss...oh for a pair of hindsight spectacles). Anyway no point selling - will end up with thruppence ha penny. Lots of stuffed bottom drawers with IDD in them I think.

I bought shares in this company because they are in a growth industry & with the present government talking about id cards could make this sector one of the biggest. I am not saying that IDD would get the contract, but they might get a Peace of the action, thats what shareholders have got to hope for.

What a crock of shite, hope the directors are feeling happy with themselves... Certainly been a learning curve for myself, SET STOP LOSSES...

I deal with the Halifax share dealing & they don't have stop loss tools, about two year ago the Halifax said they were talking about having stop loss tool but nothing to date. I must change my broker.
