Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

I don't think we should be bombing Syria ,what's the point ? .
Keep our own country safe ,spend the millions it would cost bombing on security and checks on who is entering and already in our country .

That's the problem ,the programme on channel 4 this week was an eye opener we still have hate preaching in the streets of London and nothing is done .
These people have to be removed ,it has nothing to do with free speech.

Everything is an eye opener to me now , I've watched much more news , even watched Russia today to see what's said and am coming round to their interpretation of events . Turkey are aiding ISIS no doubt and they are joining EU.

Merkel is an absolute disgrace .She encouraged hundreds of thousands to invade (yes it was an invasion) Europe and with them came god knows how many more terrorists .
Because of Turkeys actions Putin may start something huge .

Calm down and relax all you right wingers! Despite all the recent talk about Turkey "maybe" joining the EU (thats all it is talk IMHO), because of Turkey's dreadful human rights abuses in the past before all this ISIS stuff kicked off.. It's very very unlikely that Turkey will be allowed to join the EU..so just think about it and relax.

Well I watched a clip of an Italian MP who said we give I think 3.5 billion euros to Turkey and all they do is shoot down a Russian jet we must not let them join EU . That's basically what he said .

This was a silly idea. I suppose they thought that the police would go home and leave the van there because 5 people didn't want a new runway.
The inbound tunnel to Heathrow Airport has been blocked by climate change activists protesting at proposals to expand the West London airport.
Five people were arrested as members of campaign group Plane Stupid locked themselves into a vehicle they parked across the lanes of the main road into the airport.

I thought Corbyn's remarks on the Syrian bombing discussion were thoughtful and sensible.
Syria is a mare's nest of conflicting political forces and unless there is a consensus between Russia, Turkey and the west, backed by the people they represent, no coordinated advance will be made to clear out da'ish and allow people to resettle.
Until that is done, I believe any british force should be focused purely in support of the Kurds to allow them to regain all of their traditional areas and create a safe zone outside.
Assad has to be part of the equation at least for the reconstruction period.

One problem is that Putin wants Assad to stay. We may end up in conflict with Russia if we bomb Assad's forces as part of the process.

Amongst many things which is puzzling me about the M.E. at the moment is what are the Israelis considering about in relation to the "situation".
They are very quiet, or perhaps I am looking it the wrong directions.
Another, if "we" "flatten" Syria in an attempt to wipe out ISIL many who seem to have already spread to other areas of the world (Tunisia, Turkey, France, UK USA etc.) will it make the Streets of the UK safer?
If so how much safer and at what overall costs?
Just asking!

I believe Putin wants Assad to stay in the interim. We shouldnt be bombing anyone apart from IS in the kurd areas, or in a safe zone outside, until a post conflict political road map has been agreed.
