Is it March already!

Happy March everyone.

Could i have some of that bacon Socks it smells great!

Socrates - 01 Mar 2003 15:32 - 656 of 23498

GD
It IS great. Fresh sliced, not water injected like the plastic stuff most supermarkets serve up.

I've just returned from shopping and Mr Butcherman has provided me with some lamb sausages and some very moreish pork and chive sausages. Who was it used to be panting for snorkers, was it lw? Next, I must buy some rib-eye steaks, they are seriously addictive, talk about heart attack on a plate!

Yes it is March already, my life, comes in like a lamb, goes out like a lion. So it is said, so shall it be.

Cheltenham is all prepared to receive Hightone. The bus shelters have been turned into bomb shelters, the traffic lights are permanently on red and shops are all being boarded up. Could be fun! I do hope he is on best behaviour because the Queen is coming this year.

Golddog - 01 Mar 2003 16:58 - 657 of 23498

Cheers Socks. Good luck with the arrival of Hightone.

Well i have cleaned the car, done the gardening, turned over my Kylie calender (dont laugh!), and now im having a little snooze before hitting the town tonight. Watch out ladies the Pooch is coming. Now where's my pink tu tu dress?

:-)

Fortunately both my back and front windows were open so it went straight through. If I ever see the cat again it will be a miracle.

Don't forget to keep us updated on your tips, us poor investors need a bit of help sometimes.

Hi Everybody, just got a ISDN/phone line in after a five week wait. No idea whats been happening, haven't read a UK paper as was unable to trade even if I'd wanted to, no internet, nothing!!Tried the 'old site' but couldn't find it, was it seconded by Uncle Sam as a B52 site? Has everyone done a Shania Twain and 'Come on Over'? even Forky, assuming someone eventually told him what was happening!!!! Life over here is excellent, really felt for you all in the recent snow fall.Playing lots of golf, fly fishing and pool dipping, good crowd of people here and got a job helping with the golf course, time for bed, 2 hrs. ahead....keep on ploughing....south african lw...

little woman - 02 Mar 2003 14:25 - 670 of 23498

Hi GD

I just noticed the trading game trades were supposed to be posted by 12pm Noon (by the way 12pm is midnight as 12am is noon!!!) So I posted late.........

I suspect many also misread. It's hard enough not being able to spell - but you really need to make it easy for thoses of us who also seem to have problems with our reading.

jeffmack - 02 Mar 2003 16:26 - 671 of 23498

I'm sure if buy GB a pint of Bods he will forgive all late posters this time.

Socrates - 02 Mar 2003 16:32 - 672 of 23498

You'd be surprised what GD will do for a Bods!

vasey - 02 Mar 2003 16:58 - 673 of 23498

Oh dear! The Game hasn't even started and Pooch will have to adjudicate before he does anything else! Sorry, poochy, I thought we had to post by this evening. Would the offer of having your tummy tickled win you round to overlooking those of us who had a problem waking up this morning?

Kayak - 02 Mar 2003 17:12 - 674 of 23498

little woman, 12am is midnight and 12pm is noon, in the same way as 12.05am is during the night and 12.05pm in the afternoon :-) Most people however would just say 12 midnight and 12 noon.
