Good Morning - coffee, tea, toast and an array of danish pastries
on the counter - it's going to be a GOOD day today - woke up this
morning and decided as they say in the show-biz world
The Show Must Go On!
and it seems the FTSE, following the great evening on the DOW last
night agrees...a fitting tribute to a new day.

Happy belated Birthday Wishes Zarif! have a great day!!

vasey - 26 May 2004 09:22 - 6581 of 23498

a cup of coffee would be great, thanks bunny.

jj50 - 26 May 2004 09:27 - 6582 of 23498

coffee and danish pastry would be great, bunny ... thanks. Things look on the up.

stockbunny - 26 May 2004 10:25 - 6583 of 23498

It doesn't look bad at all - although the utilities in particular
are jumping about from red to blue and back!
Will be around most of today - I'm keeping my exposure to a paintbrush
minimal today as I saw enough of several yesterday!!

Ohhh!!! Do'Nut delivery just came in people!!! Hmmmm Yummmmmmmm!!

snoball - 26 May 2004 10:34 - 6584 of 23498

Mornin' all.
Ill have some of that coffee and then I'm out for some sand & cement.
Oh yes, and a doughnut as well.

stockbunny - 26 May 2004 11:16 - 6585 of 23498

Can't supply the sand and cement Snowie - good luck with it
by the way, I hope this does not mean a part-porch-rebuild is
in progress at your place!

Market's quieter....going to try and hack off some more of the
varnish-like 'stuff' I'm currently fighting.....back shortly

snoball - 26 May 2004 15:31 - 6586 of 23498

Tea's up!
Down tools stockbunny.

Sand & cement was to re-point the breeze blocks.
I actually bought a mortar mix after reading all the packaging notes.

vasey - 26 May 2004 16:22 - 6587 of 23498

superseded....thanks girls!

Socrates - 26 May 2004 17:42 - 6588 of 23498

vasey - 26 May 2004 17:59 - 6590 of 23498

zarif, the pooch is on holiday in sunny Spain this week and he won't catch up with the thread until his return.

stockbunny - 26 May 2004 19:09 - 6591 of 23498

Wheewwww believe it or not I only stopped the on-going fight with
the varnish 'stuff'to cook dinner about an hour ago.

For your info. one and all -
if you ever find yourself confronted with a varnish-cum-waxy-like
substance that is very dark in colour - mock mahogany -on any original
woodwork in an old house, think extremely hard
before you decide to try and remove it! So far it's Bunny 1 Varnish 5
easily - seriously it is very hard work and very very messy to do!!!
Whats underneath is oak and beautiful but........

I'm off now - going to have an easy evening in front of the box!

vasey - 26 May 2004 21:18 - 6592 of 23498

bunny, dotel and everybody else who dropped in to the Traders Room, Traders Thread. We made it! 400 posts and a wonderful mix of trading, humour, camaraderie and nonsense!

Thank you everybody. I'm going to settle down in the corner with a cup of tea and wait for somebody else to come into the cafe......

jeffmack - 26 May 2004 21:39 - 6593 of 23498

Rain tomorrow :-(

Socrates - 27 May 2004 00:02 - 6594 of 23498

OK folks, I can't sit here chatting all night, Iv'e got some serious sleeping to do. Nightie night.

dotel - 27 May 2004 00:21 - 6595 of 23498

Hi vasey - soz, only just home... I think perhaps a lot of us got things done today that we perhaps wouldn't have got around to doing.

Settling in for a bit of homework now..

stockbunny - 27 May 2004 09:37 - 6596 of 23498

A Very Good Bunny Breakfast Morning To One And All!!

OK some lovely fresh rolls and pastries on the counter, fresh coffee
and the do'nut man has already been so lots of terribly-calorie-full
-but-who's-counting items available for your tasting pleasure! Plus the
usual array of fruit and cereal for those less sweet-toothed.

I'm grabbing a pot of tea, a danish and my usual bowl of fruit, cereal
and nuts to then settle down to check out stockwatch........

stockbunny - 27 May 2004 11:39 - 6597 of 23498

I'm stepping out for some air - but there's various bagettes and
sarnies ready on the counter plus the usual packaged nibbly-thingies
for anyone wanting a quick snack lunch.

Golddog - 27 May 2004 12:52 - 6598 of 23498

Poochy returns from his travels.

Sad News of Croc and love & best wishes to his family. I give him much respect for all his hard work and help he gave to everyone and anyone who needed it. Sadly missed by all and i have put his croc picy above so he will always be with us in the Cafe to be remembered.

jj50 - 27 May 2004 12:52 - 6599 of 23498

Baguette very welcome bunny. Shall take it out in the sun with me.

How do you find time to do varnish and food? I found covering the varnish remover stuff with a black bin bag and leaving it for a while, helped lift off the varnish in one go! This cup of tea is good. Must head off now to watch a school cricket match; at least the sun is shining.

Brilliant work Vasey with the Traders thread - what nicer tribute to David.
