bunny, dotel and everybody else who dropped in to the Traders Room, Traders Thread. We made it! 400 posts and a wonderful mix of trading, humour, camaraderie and nonsense!

Thank you everybody. I'm going to settle down in the corner with a cup of tea and wait for somebody else to come into the cafe......

jeffmack - 26 May 2004 21:39 - 6593 of 23498

Rain tomorrow :-(

Socrates - 27 May 2004 00:02 - 6594 of 23498

OK folks, I can't sit here chatting all night, Iv'e got some serious sleeping to do. Nightie night.

dotel - 27 May 2004 00:21 - 6595 of 23498

Hi vasey - soz, only just home... I think perhaps a lot of us got things done today that we perhaps wouldn't have got around to doing.

Settling in for a bit of homework now..

stockbunny - 27 May 2004 09:37 - 6596 of 23498

A Very Good Bunny Breakfast Morning To One And All!!

OK some lovely fresh rolls and pastries on the counter, fresh coffee
and the do'nut man has already been so lots of terribly-calorie-full
-but-who's-counting items available for your tasting pleasure! Plus the
usual array of fruit and cereal for those less sweet-toothed.

I'm grabbing a pot of tea, a danish and my usual bowl of fruit, cereal
and nuts to then settle down to check out stockwatch........

stockbunny - 27 May 2004 11:39 - 6597 of 23498

I'm stepping out for some air - but there's various bagettes and
sarnies ready on the counter plus the usual packaged nibbly-thingies
for anyone wanting a quick snack lunch.

Golddog - 27 May 2004 12:52 - 6598 of 23498

Poochy returns from his travels.

Sad News of Croc and love & best wishes to his family. I give him much respect for all his hard work and help he gave to everyone and anyone who needed it. Sadly missed by all and i have put his croc picy above so he will always be with us in the Cafe to be remembered.

jj50 - 27 May 2004 12:52 - 6599 of 23498

Baguette very welcome bunny. Shall take it out in the sun with me.

How do you find time to do varnish and food? I found covering the varnish remover stuff with a black bin bag and leaving it for a while, helped lift off the varnish in one go! This cup of tea is good. Must head off now to watch a school cricket match; at least the sun is shining.

Brilliant work Vasey with the Traders thread - what nicer tribute to David.

zarif - 27 May 2004 13:11 - 6600 of 23498

Afternoon gang:
Nice Hot Cuppa D and then to watch the Us figures out later on. BTW the telly in the corner has those channels with a message "enter pin no". Does that mean Gd has been watching some serious stuff?

rgds
zarif

Ps: Vasey and Martini -Toast to you for the thoughtfullnes and upmanship for the task of taking up the traders thread and keep the name of david alive forever.

Gentleman raise you glasses

nb: Put all the drinks and food on my tab.

Golddog - 27 May 2004 14:16 - 6601 of 23498

Having read the posts i missed i'm glad to see you all behaved yourselves with only light do'nut damage along the way!

I think i better go out and mow the lawn now and do some washing.

Nice to have an English cuppa.
:-)

stockbunny - 27 May 2004 14:17 - 6602 of 23498

GD!! Welcome back! So how was Spain and yes I want to hear all
about it, hope you didn't get burnt or too drunk during your stay.

Quite right JJ50 - baguette it should have been but due to more
rush then thought it ended up 'u'-less!! (lol)
Oh don't worry about me I'm a past-master at chasing myself up...
yes well you know the phrase I'm sure, let's just say the preverbial
blue-assed fly has nothing on the bunny - there just aren't enough
hours in the day....

Golddog - 27 May 2004 14:17 - 6603 of 23498

I will update the Investment Game this evening so it will be interesting to see who's gone where on the leaderboard! Could we have a new leader???

Golddog - 27 May 2004 14:21 - 6604 of 23498

Hello my Bunny, will not chat now have things to do but will pop in later for stories! and yes there is a little spanish poochy passion tale to tell! ;-)

Gianni - 27 May 2004 14:59 - 6605 of 23498

gd - just a thought but suppose my charity award for the winner was given to Dave's family preferred charity? I guess it would be for the winner to decide but I would be happy to send the cheque to the winner for them to donate.

Also are we having a new game? I can only improve :))

stockbunny - 27 May 2004 15:06 - 6606 of 23498

Gianni - although it is very unlikely I will win, I think your
suggestion is a great one and if (very unlikely) I did win, that
would be the choice for me.

stockbunny - 27 May 2004 15:27 - 6607 of 23498

Well I'm off to do the ironing - boring I know but until everyone
stops wearing clothes it's an unavoidable fact of life.
Be lucky people!!

vasey - 27 May 2004 18:08 - 6608 of 23498

good evening, cafettes......I would like a small glass of chilled white wine, please and a copy of the FT if poochy hasn't already found a use for it....

Socrates - 27 May 2004 18:13 - 6609 of 23498

Hello all

Vasey
You may be unlucky with the FT. I have a suspicion that it may have been cut into small squares, and is now hanging from a string in the loo.

I'll have a glass of that white wine as long as you can fizz it up a bit in one of those soda machines. Couple of teaspoons of sugar in it too, can't stand dry wine.

Aer you holding MKS? That's a bit of a surprise party isn't it?

snoball - 27 May 2004 18:13 - 6610 of 23498

Very therapeutic, ironing is, stockbunny.

When I sanded my floor, stockbunny, it was covered in that brown sticky stuff
which was under the original 1930's lino. It took 10 sheets of sanding paper to
get off.

Welcome back GD. Espero que te encuentras bien.

vasey - 27 May 2004 18:14 - 6611 of 23498

Funnily enough, Socs, I am holding a few MKS. I was out most of the day, so a nice surprise to come home to. I hope the world is treating you well....or better, at least.
