Can someone give me a brief outline of what these meetings are about and if a keen beginner would be welcomed?

A keen beginner or serious trader, all welcome!

Meetings last at least 6 hours and semi-formal with agenda, and a very friendly group of people with wide range of experience but all chatting about markets/companies/TA/fundamentals etc. etc.
