Stan , I can only remember him when he was on a down hill slope at the end of his career in the early seventies and to be honest he was being picked for England on reputation not merit and was a half decent player for Fulham in the old second division but nothing to get excited about.

Only game I can remember him being any good in was the Brazil game at the 70 WC but if I remember right it was Mullery not Moore who had the job of marking Pele.

Can't imagine the boys being too happy if she saw them in the ice bath. Especially wee Willy.

I watched Moore from 68 onwards when my Dad used to take me as a kid.

He was good in an bang average team.

By 74 he was finished at the top level.
