If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!
Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.
The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.
This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)
If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

Stockwatch/level 2 problems again. Neither will open even after waiting over 2 minutes. Other site OK so must be your end.
It appears we have this problem at least once a week of late.
Getting a bit fed up of this.
We could do with an explanation via Moneyam management, as I appreciate it is not usually down to the tech department but to the suppliers..
Perhaps an E-Mail to all subscribers.
I'm paying for a service that is not providing.
Shutting down now as it's a waste of time.

greekman,
I have just tried this and they were fine - however we will take a look at the servers at this end.
Please accept our apololgies for this - and rest assured we will investigate what has caused this and get it resolved,

Seems to be a difference with number of transactions taken place with INST on Level 2(showing 7 transactions) compared to Trades(14 Transactions).
Also INST level 2 not updating Transactions as with Stockwatch.
Have tried Logging out and back in, still the same.

Ian,
Just to let you know that our IT department have rebuilt my PC - new hard drive and fan and reinstalled all software etc and I don't have any problems with popups etc any more.

Hi morgan,
Sorry about this. I've had a look into the problem, and I can recreate it, but it's not something that we can resolve here. I've passed it along to our providers to see what they think is happening. We will let you know once we hear from them.
Thanks, James.

Di,
I have just been looking at vod trades in terminal to see if I can recreate it, and they are streaming away no problem here. When you say they keep stopping what exactly happens, do they stop with information still there, do they disappear completely, does it try to conect to stream but not conect? Is there a specific stock you are seeing this on? If so could you give me an example.

L2 not printing all trades. What is the accuracy of the remaining L2 data?
As an aside, I'm sure I posted earlier on L2 but now can't find that post. Puzzled.

Ian,
Thank you (hadn't checked back to yesterday's posts). For my missing post, still puzzled.

Di,
It sounds as though your machine may be struggling to deal with the number of streaming windows you have open in terminal (just a theory), it does point to this, as the figures 'stall' as it were instead of losing connection or not being there at all.
You may want to try updating your java just to see if this improves things

But on the back of that we will also take a look this end
