THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

All this just shows me any Muslim has the ability to turn into a Jihadist , and the more that come put pressure on local communities and resentment against Muslims . These Muslims then feel oppressed and feel they need to react with violence . That's what will happen throughout EU , and all funded by EU countries tax payers . These EU leaders are going to be responsible for it all .

66299 - i have no idea what the question was

anyway, perhaps i should just follow your guru's route and just ignore

Fred1new - 17 Dec 2015 08:30 - 66301 of 81564

Hays,

Does he think he is in the Bullingdon Club or a whore shop?

Strikes me he would be at home in either!

iturama - 17 Dec 2015 09:59 - 66302 of 81564

I dont know why you bother cynic. Fred, although long squelched, shows the occasional glimpse of intelligence in an avalanche of garbage; his sidekick is just plain thick.

cynic - 17 Dec 2015 10:06 - 66303 of 81564

fred i totally ignore >95% of the time
stan's actually ok as he also contributes elsewhere

"Many times I have seen Jeremy Corbyn in the Houses of Parliament and also outside in many conferences that have been held by the Bahraini opposition."
Abdul Raoof Al Shayeb

Terrorist who attended human rights conferences with Jeremy Corbyn faces jail

Court hears Abdul Raoof Al Shayeb claimed he was a leading human rights activist but was found with guides of how to be a terrorist

terrorist who met with Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn is behind bars after he was caught with material that could have led "to the deaths of many people".

Abdul Raoof Al Shayeb, 51, claims he has been a leading human rights activist in his native Bahrain since the age of 14.

He met with the Labour leader "many times" to discuss the human rights situation in Bahrain and attended the home of Lord Eric Avebury, Vice Chair of the Parliamentary Human Rights Group.

But when police raided his Maida Vale home they discovered a 16GB SD card loaded with military files on "bombs", "missiles" and "destruction" alongside Jihadi exam papers.

They also found photos of Al Shayeb in combat fatigues along with a PowerPoint presentation displaying instructions about the assembly, calibration and best shooting positions for a Dragunov sniper rifle.

Al Shayeb claimed the sniper rifle presentation showed only how protect oneself against the weapon and stated that he had only been shown a simple version - minus the "Shia" fighters and Arabic text seen in court.

He was also stopped on arrival into Gatwick airport from Baghdad four months earlier in possession of a 2GB memory card containing identical information retrieved from the deleted files.

"We are looking at the information you might want or need if planning to bring down a regime by stealth and by force, and by terror tactics - particularly when it comes to bombs, missiles and mortars," said prosecutor Max Hill, QC.

A jury of six men and six women at Snaresbrook Crown Court took almost seven hours to reach their decision on the evidence.

Al Shayeb, who works at Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital as a patient advocate, showed no emotion as the verdict was read out but flashed the "peace" sign at friends in the public gallery.

Judge Martyn Zeidman, QC, told Al Shayeb: "The material on your memory card was dynamite.

"Misuse of that material could have given rise to the deaths of many people.

"An immediate prison sentence is inevitable."

At best Corbyn has extremely poor judgement in his choice of acquaintances.

Hays.

I suppose it is a little like Cameron and Osborme flogging arms to Saudi Arabia and Egypt for a quick buck!

Of course, the UK economic back pockets are more important than "human rights".

You have already posted that H/S.. boy you really are desperate these days.

Fred1new - 17 Dec 2015 10:30 - 66308 of 81564

Rubbing one's nose, like the above, was suggested to be the sign of lying!

Fred1new - 17 Dec 2015 10:31 - 66309 of 81564

Stan.

Party central office is running out of fracking ideas!

Stan - 17 Dec 2015 10:34 - 66310 of 81564

They certainly are Fred.

VICTIM - 17 Dec 2015 10:35 - 66311 of 81564

Well I'm glad he is showing Corblimey up for what he is , things I wouldn't have thought possible and would never have known about . He seems very proud to be seen with these type of people , so well done Hays .

Fred1new - 17 Dec 2015 10:37 - 66312 of 81564

PS,

Another U-turn.

Found some con-party members have Solar farms, or solariums.

George wasn't sure which.

-=-=-=-=-

Subsidies for small scale solar electricity panels on homes are to be cut, the government has announced, although by less than expected.
The subsidies will be cut by 64%, although this is less than the previous proposal of an 87% reduction.
The cuts have been softened following a storm of criticism.

God knows what Cameron will negotiate in Brussels.

VICTIM - 17 Dec 2015 10:39 - 66313 of 81564

Brussels Sprouts .

Fred1new - 17 Dec 2015 10:41 - 66314 of 81564

But we are certainly on a winner in the negotiations.

Maggie Thatcher auction ,everything sold for much more than the guide price ,what does that tell you ? Britain's greatest ever leader !!!!

=============================
Margaret Thatcher's red prime ministerial dispatch box has sold at auction in London for £242,500.
The blue velvet wedding dress she wore in 1951 sold for £25,000.
They are among 150 items belonging to the late PM being auctioned at Christie's, with bids from as far away as the US, Australia and South Korea.
Handbags, speech notes, gifts from world leaders and the raincoat she famously wore to drive a tank in 1986 are also being sold.
Baroness Thatcher died on 8 April 2013 at the age of 87. Britain's only female prime minister, she held office from 1979 to 1990.
The Iron Lady: A political life
Embossed with the Royal cypher and the title "Prime Minister", the dispatch box was delivered to the then Mrs Thatcher on a daily basis, containing cabinet, foreign and Commonwealth documents for her attention.
It vastly exceeded its estimate of £3,000-5,000, attracting a round of applause in the auction room when it finally sold.
A signed typescript of her famous speech reciting the words of St Francis of Assisi, "Where there is discord, may we bring harmony," sold for £37,500.
She gave that address outside Number 10 shortly after becoming prime minister.
Baroness Thatcher's collection of writings from Winston Churchill sold for £32,500 - 10 times its estimate - while her editions of Churchill's biography of Marlborough sold for £18,750.
Also sold at the auction was a Kaiser bisque model of an American bald eagle, which was gifted to the former prime minister from former US president Ronald Reagan.
It was bought for £266,500 - much more than its estimate of £8,000.
The award was presented in 1984 by US ambassador to the UK Walter H Annenberg, whose wife Leonore has been credited with introducing Mrs Thatcher to Mr Reagan and initiating their relationship.
Other items that went under the hammer included personal letters from Mr Reagan to Mrs Thatcher, such as one to congratulate her on 11 years in power which sold for £25,000, and one wishing a belated birthday to her husband Sir Denis, which was purchased for £32,500.
Her wedding dress and matching muff also far exceeded its estimate, which was set at £10-15,000.
She wore them to marry Denis Thatcher on 13 December 1951 at Wesley's Chapel in London.
An online auction of another 200 items belonging to Baroness Thatcher closes on Wednesday
