I'm sidelined at the moment waiting for a rally to short. I was long going into yesterday morning which was automatically stopped at 18515, but I was out for a lot of yesterday and missed the chance to reverse. I did manage a couple of scalps, but that's simply not my style.

Looks like the legs are under wraps today I'm afraid. It's snowing, so the best option might be a sauna. Are you up for one?

It doesn't know what to make of the record trade deficit, Beebs. Up 70 pips then back down 90 within 5 minutes. Still sidelined.

Unlucky Beebs. It will rally at some stage to form a high ....... just be patient and then short it. It'll still be here tomorrow.

Anyone know when the CMC MArch Q expires on cable? mine is now higher than the rolling bet so I'm wondering if it has expired

Nice entry point for longs atm. Double bottom (fingers x'd) on the Cable and higher low on the . Cable stops on a move below 17923 being the intraday low from yesterday.

There should be a lot of short stops positioned on the Cable at around 18080 and at about 12380 on the . If they're triggered, you could easily see a sharp spike upwards.
