Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

as i wrote yesterday, the saudi perspective is very different from what we are told here ..... both versions will have an element of truth, though i suspect neither the unbiased truth ....... fred, you'll need to check into your fossilised brain to see if that word even resides there

Manuel.
Rather than shooting your fingers off, Get Paul Mason's Postcapitalism and try to read it and then sit back and do your best to understand it.
You will have some difficulties, but do try.

Manuel,
That is probably why you remain ignorant with your barrow boy mentality.

JB,
You are obviously adding mind reading to you inadequate skills.
Have a good day!

just occasionally ...... the saudi "horror story" is interesting however
like it or not, one has to accept that the death penalty and corporal (nearly wrote corporate!) punishment are commonplace in the region
thus, in saudi eyes, the shiite cleric nimr al-nimr was a militant preacher, arguably planted by iran, intent on spreading dissent and worse ...... this is deemed treason with only one penalty applicable
saudi would have had no problem at all in dealing with abu hamza!
whether or not the charges against nimr might have been at least reasonably provable i do not know ...... nor do i have any idea of the strength of the charges against the other 40, but i suspect they were all deemed to have taken a significant part in an attempted uprising
that saudi's actions were politically imprudent is another matter, but the saudis are rarely interested in such niceties, though a change in attitude might be forced upon them in coming years

Farage was bang on last night on TV ,he said Cameron will try to tell us he has a deal on benefits for migrants but he will not be addressing migration and the free movement of people .
What with the new camp at Dunkirk and the masses that will be attacking the trucks there as well, hopefully it will all add to us voting out of the EU this summer.

YouGov poll, out today, is still finding a very close EU referendum race –
41% would vote to stay, 42% would vote to leave. With the margins of error, that is pretty even.
It looks like the 17% undecided will make the difference. I think we will end up staying in due to fear.

I am not certain which way I will vote but am leaning towards the out camp. DC was 'armed' with pathetic requests, he should have demanded much more. The depth of resentment of EU policies is being under-estimated imv.
I'm sure the thousands of people who have suffered terrible flooding of their homes will not have to think twice which way to vote, (2000 Law making it illegal to dredge).
H is your wish to remain in the EU?
