Good Morning you lovely bunch of bananas.

Last day on the Investment Game. Can anyone make a surprise surge to Top!

Last session of jeffmack's gee gee's tomorrow so if you have yet to play this session then why not place a bet and recieve your 1000 bonus fund (martini, hilary and so on plus any new players very welcome).

Poochy will have a bowl of tea and a little biscuit shaped like a bone.

vasey - 28 May 2004 10:57 - 6678 of 23498

Just noticed you have updated the game, poochy. A nice touch.

jeffmack - 28 May 2004 11:13 - 6679 of 23498

Tomorrows Final Gee Gee race will be the 3:15 Kempton, which currently has 41 runners, so nice and easy.

Golddog - 28 May 2004 11:20 - 6680 of 23498

only 41 runners jeffers! No wonder i never win!!
:-)

jeffmack - 28 May 2004 11:23 - 6681 of 23498

Dont forget if you want to catch the leaders you will need to work out how much you have to invest depending on the price of your horse.

Current Leaders
Hightone 4,325
optomistic 4,250
little woman 4,200

So I have a pot of 450, so I would need a 10/1 winnere to catch the leader.

Runners 3:15 Kempton

jeffmack - 28 May 2004 11:24 - 6682 of 23498

Good morning GD, you in Wiggie at the mo? kept looking but didnt buy, seems to be on the up now.

little woman - 28 May 2004 11:25 - 6683 of 23498

- not unless we put some big bets down and lost!

stockbunny - 28 May 2004 11:36 - 6684 of 23498

Another refill of tea please....this stockwatching isn't getting
my painting done...oh well...who cares!!!
((Rebellion strikes on Friday morning in the warren lol!!)

Golddog - 28 May 2004 11:37 - 6685 of 23498

jeffers, not been in wiggie since advfn days.

lwoman, I think you are too shrewd a woman when it comes to money to lose the lot on one bet! But 4000 on a win at say 10/1 would considerably boost your pot.
:-)

vasey - 28 May 2004 11:38 - 6686 of 23498

Got to be number 37 for me, please, Jeff. Whippasnapper. 100 E/W

jeffmack - 28 May 2004 11:47 - 6687 of 23498

Nice choice V

jeffmack - 28 May 2004 11:49 - 6688 of 23498

I've just booked up to go to Philadelphia for a few days to watch Man Utd V Celtic. I'm going with 2 supporters from each side with me only supporting my beer glass. Should be a lot of fun.

Golddog - 28 May 2004 11:51 - 6689 of 23498

I must pop out and get my holiday photos! It will be the usuall....i don't remember doing that! hee hee.
:-)

stockbunny - 28 May 2004 12:03 - 6690 of 23498

The Chef's got a cold-cooked meats/fish & cheeses/pates buffet-style lunch
organised apparently - plenty of salads, baguettes and wine also
lined up. Tuck in....

stockbunny - 28 May 2004 12:14 - 6691 of 23498

Going for a break now - back later after lunch..

snoball - 28 May 2004 13:05 - 6692 of 23498

900 (I think) on Zarzu to win. Ta.

optomistic - 28 May 2004 13:42 - 6693 of 23498

Kempton 3.15 showing 20 runners.
No Zarzu or Wippasnaper running
Am I missing something?

jeffmack - 28 May 2004 13:44 - 6694 of 23498

opto
I will take a look, there would have been another opt out stage today so could now be down to 20.

vasey - 28 May 2004 13:48 - 6695 of 23498

..or maybe Whippasnapper just set off 24 hours early in order to make sure he won!?

optomistic - 28 May 2004 13:53 - 6696 of 23498

Good thinking Vasey, I reckon I could win a race if I set of very early :-)
