Will this increase or decrease the likelihood of terrorist actions in America, Europe and the rest of the world?
If you were a member of a family murdered in this conflict, would you be seeking revenge?
Should Tzipi Livni and Ehud Olmert, be tried for war crimes if or when this conflict comes to an end?
What will the price of oil be in 4 weeks time?

an interesting comment from today's FT .....
Hamas finds Arab outrage diluted
A desensitised Arab public and the alignment of several anti-Islamist Arab states mean less pressure on Israel to halt its offensive in Gaza

I sometimes wish that there was a big green giant who could pick up both sides, shake them about a bit and put them in a sack with the promise they wouldn't be let out until the sorted themselves out.
---------
Another, thing they could do is shift the Israeli population to the Gaza strip and the population of Gaza to the Israeli "grab" land for 6 months and put the "leaders" or "villains" in a room and not let them out until the had negotiated a decent ongoing settlement.
After the negotiation was over, the populations other than than their leaders, could return to their own.

http://news.sky.com/story/1306469/britain-warns-west-less-sympathetic-to-israel
The British Foreign Secretary has told Sky News he will tell Israel's prime minister the West is becoming less sympathetic to its cause.
Philip Hammond is visiting Israel as international efforts to broker a ceasefire continue.
He has already warned an international inquiry into Israel's actions in Gaza will not help efforts to achieve a ceasefire.
The UN Human Rights Council has voted to back a Palestinian resolution to begin an investigation, as Human Rights Commissioner Navi Pillay said there was a "strong possibility" Israel was guilty of war crimes.

It is pretty obvious that either Hamas have no control over certain militant factions within Gaza or perhaps the Israelis are setting up their own rocket launches (disguised as Palestinians) missing targets of course, giving them an excuse to finish the job in hand....the latter scenario is very doubtful...I presume that it would take perhaps a military job within Hamas to prevent its own people from firing "stalin like" salvos across the border.....and would they do that ? or even have the wish or inclination to prevent further rocket lanches...in a war like this : nobody trusts anybody....

There are military brigades within Gaza that do not listen to Hamas. Hamas are regarded as too tame by some. Hamas has been trying to take the political path for some time.
Things mat take a turn for the worse. I have been reading some intelligence briefings over the last few days. There is a evidence that there are some ISIS fighters in Gaza now and trying to get into the West Bank. Israel would do well to negotiate with Hamas. ISIS don't negotiate. If ISIS is in Gaza then it is only a matter of time before they are in Israel.
